This was originally "I don't need a babysitter" but I decided to rewrite it so here, I think you'll like this good version much better.

Cheryl's POV

"Yeah, Dad." I chuckled, "I know." I rolled my eyes.

"Sweetheart, I'm just making sure." My father chuckled, patting my back.

My father is a producer. He produces all kinds of movies. Which is why I barely see him around anymore.

"So on your birthday, I will only be able to call..." He frowned. I sighed, already used to it.

"That's fine, Dad. Your busy, I get it." I smiled.

I would've gone to college after I graduated high school last year, but my father got into a pretty bad accident, leaving me to take care of him.

He sighed, kissing my forehead. "I can't believe my little girl is going to be 20."

I chuckled, "Better believe it then, Dad."

He smiled before speaking again. "Oh, Yeah! Your mother wants a day with you sometime next week."

I smiled, becoming excited. "Really?!"

"Yeah, She said she's off next week. So it's you and her." He chuckled.

My mom is a children's doctor. I see her sometimes if she's not out of town taking care of a kid.

"Okay, I'll be sure to text her."

"great." He sighed, picking up his now ringing phone.

"Sorry, Honey." He said, nodding to the other room.

I gave a small smile before walking out.

My phone beeped singling I had a text. "Betty💫" it read.

Betty💫: Hey, Cher. Can't make it today, Polly is bringing the twins.

Betty was supposed to be over to help me with my closet. I had just got my room remade so I had to take all of my clothes out of the closet. Now that it's done; I need help putting them back.

Me: That's fine, B. Tell Polly I said hi.

Betty💫: I will. Hope you get some done!

Me: I got it. No worries.

I sighed, going to look over my balcony. As I scanned the area, I noticed a tanned woman talking to a man with a clipboard.

Intrigued, I leaned closer to get a better look. She was a bit tall, tanned skin with pink streaks in her hair. The guy she was speaking to ordered some men to move a couch into the house they were standing in front of.

Suddenly she looked up, noticing me staring. I didn't want to look like a creep so I smiled before speaking.

"New around here?" Seriously, Cheryl?! Obviously, she is new around here.

She noticed me mentally scolding myself and Chuckled. "Uh, yeah. Just got here, actually." She smiled.

Wow, that smile. So bright and full of life. I smiled seeing her smile, "Cool. Welcome to the neighborhood."

"Thanks... I never got your name." She said.

"Oh, Cheryl. My name is Cheryl." I chuckled.

"Awesome. Thanks, Cheryl. I'm Toni." She waved.

I nodded, watching as she turned to walk back down to her house.

Wow, She is really pretty.

Toni's POV

"Thanks, Andy." I smiled at my nephew.

I finally decided to move out here with my family. My mom, Dad, and two older siblings used to live in Washington, D.C. But we decided to move to a smaller town. Well, they moved first, I just got her.

"Anytime, Aunt T! So glad your here." He smiled.

"Glad to be here with you guys." I chuckled, handing him 10 dollars.

"Buy you and Atlas something," I said, referring to his 4-year-old brother.

"Thanks!" The 16-year-old smiled, hugging me before running down the street to my parent's house.

I smiled before looking over at the house that held the most beautiful redhead I've ever seen.

She wasn't standing on her balcony anymore, which made me a little disappointed.

I sighed before closing the door to my two-story house. I turned and rolled my eyes at my dog, Baby Yoda.

"Yods, Don't roll in that." I scolded before picking up the small golden retriever.

He licked my face, showing how happy he was that I was giving him attention.

"Wanna go for a walk?! Oh yes, you do." I cooed, grabbing his leash.

Unpacking can wait for now.

~Later that day~
Cheryl's POV

I walked from my mailbox, collecting the mail before standing there to read over them.

A small dog started jumping in my leg, making me look down at it.

"Hi!" I giggled, bending down to pet it.

"Yoda!" I heard a voice call. I looked up and show Toni.

"Sorry." She let out a breath. I giggled, "It's no problem. He's cute."

She smiled, picking up the leash. "His name is Baby Yoda. But I call him Yods."

I smiled, "Like baby Yoda from Mandalorian?" I asked, petting his head.

"Yep." Toni chuckled, "Big fan."

"Same." I giggled, sitting up.

"Well, I better get him back inside, he's probably thirsty. Nice seeing you." She waved.

I smiled with a wave. Wait until I tell Betty, Veronica, and Kevin.
