Cheryl's POV

I held Rylan while Toni unlocked the door to our house.

I smiled as Toni held the door open for me, letting me step inside first.

"Welcome home, baby." I smiled at the cooing baby in my arms.

"She'll get used to it." Toni chuckled, kissing my cheek.

"Wanna go put her down?" She asked.

"Yeah, let's go." I smiled, letting my wife lead me to the nursery.

I gently laid her down in her crib before placing her pink Pacifier in her mouth

I gently laid her down in her crib before placing her pink Pacifier in her mouth.

Rylan stared up at us as we stared down at her.

"You think she'll cry if we leave?" I whispered.

"I don't know. Wanna try?" Toni whispered.

I nodded, grabbing a baby monitor before we quietly exited the room.

We sighed once we stood outside the room.

I looked on the monitor, Rylan was just laying there, half asleep.

"Wow. This is gonna be easy." Toni smirked, wrapping her arms around my waist.

"For now." I smirked.

"How about we go cuddle and watch a movie?" Toni asked.

"Lead the way." I said, slapping her ass as she walked in front of me. Yoda ran behind us, excited that we're home.

She let out a light chuckle before shaking her head playfully.

Toni's POV

I heard slight whines coming from the monitor we had in Rylan's room.

Cheryl stirred as she was about to get up.

"Don't. I got it, baby. Go back to sleep." I whispered, kissing her neck.

Cheryl nodded before getting back under the covers.

I entered Rylan's room, sighing when I heard her crying.

"Oh no, Mama's girl. What's wrong?" I pouted.

She continued to cry as I picked her up.

I took her over to the changing table, grabbing a diaper and wipes before changing her diaper.

After doing that I put her Pacifier in her mouth as I gently tried to rock her back to sleep.

"You're beautiful, like mommy," I whispered, fixing the blanket I had wrapped her in.

Rylan just stared up at me blankly. I yawned, looking down at her.

She cracked a small smile but it quickly disappeared.

"You like it when mamá's tired?" I asked, earning another blank stare.

I sighed, grabbing her pacifier before leaving the room.

Cheryl and I had set up this bed thing besides our bed just in case Rylan didn't fall asleep in her room.

I gently placed her in it, locking the side into place

I gently placed her in it, locking the side into place.

Cheryl cuddled into my side as we watched the curious girl squirm around the small bed.

"She wouldn't go back to sleep?" The redhead whispered in question.

"Mhm. She smiled a little bit when I yawned." I giggled.

"She's going to be our curious monster when she gets older." Cheryl giggled.

"Tell me about it." I whispered, kissing her forehead.
