Mellie's POV
Ashton can't cook he always says he can but its a lie, two days ago he burnt my toast ! How could you burn toast I bet you are saying, well I don't know but he did.
Ashton lies about a lot of things like if he has a girlfriend or why he is always out of the house. Ever since I turned 15, which was a month ago, he has never been at home and if he was he was stuck in his room playing the drums. Mom and Dad are worried that he's getting bullied at school, but I know it's something else.
I'm Mellie Irwin, I'm 15 and live in Hornsby, Australia with my Mom, Dad and older brother, by one year Ashton. We have lived here ever since Ashton was born. When we were kids, Ash and I used to be really close but recently we've grown apart. Personally it kills me inside.
Ash goes to a different school to me because he insisted that I had a better education. At school I normally stay with my closest friend Rosa, she has bright strawberry blonde hair which is so curly it's kind of like a white girl Afro. Not to be mean to her or anything it's just she can't really do anything with it, so it's always curly. My hair on the other hand is the same as my brothers, it's brown and wavy, plain and simple all the girls say at school.
Most of the girls at school are super dolled up with layers of foundation and mascara, but they still mange to attract the boys in the year above. It's super unfair because all the boys swoon over the girls at school, they don't even bat an eyelid at Rosa and I. But I don't care, I only have eyes for this boy in my music class. He is a soccer player and a musician! The compete package.
Nobody knows that I like him and I want it to stay that way! If people found out they would laugh at me and tell me to shove me smelly socks in my mouth and never express my opinion again! It's a good job nobody knows I like Calum Hood!
