Ashton's POV

"Ashton what does x equal?"

"Ashton hello, young man I do not appreciate you day dreaming in my lessons, Mr Irwin!"

"Um yeah?" I asked sleepily.

"Oh hello Mr Irwin it's nice for you to finally join us!" Mr Johnson said with sarcasm coating his voice, Uuurrrgggghhhh i hate Mr Johnson he always picks on me in maths. I was thinking about Mellie and how she was going to cope for the next week. I haven't spoken to Calum for ages and it's really hard, especially since he was told about Nicole and i wasn't ! I can't believe i was about to date her, now there is no way i can even look at her again.

Mellie was on her first school trip ever, i had texted Calum too many times to count asking that he protects Mellie. I know she can look after herself but after the Nicole issues i couldn't risk it. Calum only texted me back with a smiley face, that was boy language for "Sure thing dude :)".

I hate my school! Richmond High School is for snobs, which i am not. My next lesson was gym, it meant that i would get picked on and bullied for my non athletic ability. Kai Anderson hated my existence, he was a jerk but all the girls wanted to be with him and all the boys wanted to be him. Kai was the captain for pretty much every sports team at school. Which annoyingly meant that all the teachers saw no wrong in him. But i did.

One and a half hours later my gym lesson had finished, 12 sweaty boys all rushed for first dibs on the showers, while I made the same decision as I always make in sports lessons, to shower and change in the disabled toilets. Luckily no one had the same idea as me so the toilets were completely empty. The rest of the day was a wiz of annoying posh idiots and chavvy scum interfering with other peoples lives. I was kind of glad that people decided to leave me alone, i guess they could tell that i didn't want people talking me. That't the kind of school i went to.

Calum's POV

I placed Mellie on the sidewalk and shuffled over to Nicole who was standing by the entrance to the aquarium, she looked as though she hadn't done anything wrong. Her straw whitey blonde hair shone in the afternoon sun light, Amanda her clone friend elbowed her in the ribs saying that i was walking over to them. Nicole just turned around and gave a toothy wide mouth grin, she looked completely unfazed but the events that happened in the last two minutes, the only sight of fear was in her eyes.

"What the fuck was that for?" I asked, anger rising to my throat.

"I have no idea what you are talking about!" Nicole replied acting completely innocent. I was not going to fall for that stupid act!

"You know what I'm talking about! You just pushed Mellie over, you little shit!" I shouted at Nicole really starting to get annoyed with her stupidness.

"I'm sorry Calum but I have no idea what your saying. I would never touch that!" Nicole said indicating to Mellie sat on the sidewalk with Luke and Rosa comforting her. I can't believe Nicole would even be so cold! I was not letting her get away with this. I walked over to Nicole's clone army and pushed into the middle of their gossip circle.

"Um I'm sorry that's not the right answer! I want you to apologise to Mellie for pushing her over and being a total bitch from that point on wards! And if you don't I will tell everyone about your little bullying scheme!" I said walking away to go and comfort Mellie.

Mellie POV

Calum was walking back over towards me, his face was red with anger, as soon as his eyes locked with mine his face soften. He sat down next to me on the sidewalk, his black skinny jeans crinkling around his ankles.

"Hey are you ok?" He asked sympathy coating his voice.

"Yeh I'm fine, thanks for picking me up off the floor." I said with a small smile. Calum just smiled and put his arm around my shoulders. We sat there waiting for the teachers with our passes to come back. It was kinda romantic I though to myself.
