Chapter 6. Scream

Sir Montear

        What's with me today. Walking down this same street in Midnight felt different. After seeing her everything felt different. Just one time I saw her and this was what I felt? But I know I am never ever going to give my heart to a woman. I'll give her my time but I'll NEVER fall for her. Although she makes my heart beat fast it's only for a short while. It's just her beauty. Woman like her are dangerous for they can make you do things that destory you. I sighed and wondered what she was doing this moment. Right now. Miranda's house was just around the corner form here. Although my brain kept telling me to go the other direction my feet carried me in front of Miranda's house. Her house was just in front of the forest. The Forest was suppoed to  be a place where there were mysterious creatures but I knew they couldn't cross the line for if they did there would be consequences that they would face. As I was staring at the forest, loud talking made me turn my head. As soon as I turned my head I heard Miranda's voice and I smiled. She always had that tough loud voice that made people cringe. I wondered what she was up too at this midnight where everyone would be asleep. As I was lost in thought I sat down on the bench in front of the house. 

        The scream made me lose my thoughts. There was a scream in the forest. It was a womans. Someone screamed once and it was silence. I thought I had heard something wrong but my heart started to beat fast and my brain kept telling me to go run to the forest. It was as if my body wasn't mine. The minute I stood up, I ran. I just ran and ran. I didn't even know where the voice was coming from but I ran until my legs stopped in front of the big oak tree. I bent down to catch my breath until I saw a figure. I looked up and gasped. It was the woman. Kirstian Greenland. There she was on the grass, her dress torn on the bottom and her sea blue eyes were closed. Her body was trembling and her hands shook and then they went silent. It hurt me.... It hurt my heart to see her so broken.... I walked slowly up to her and silent body on the grass....I quickly held my face to her chest and listened for her heart beat. Please I was begging please let me hear her heart. There was her hert beating I sighed in relief. I gently took her body in my arms. She was silent while I started to walk. That's when I realized that she had fainted. I sighed and carefully held her body close to me so she wouldn't get cold. Her pale skin was soft..it felt like baby skin. As I held her I took the chance to look at her face. Her beautiful sea blue eyes were closed and her skin was glowing. Those lips looked so soft and red, it made me yearn to kiss her. Her curly soft blonde hair bounced slightly each time I took a step, fighting the urge to curl a strand of her hair in my finger I looked away. Touching just her arms were so hard it made my heart beat too fast. I walked faster so I could quickly send her to Miranda. Something was very wrong.

        Just as I was in front of Miranda's house, I bumped into a figure and I hissed. "Sir. Montear? Oh my goodness...Thank God....oh my goodness....." Miranda was sobbing now at my feet while her hands touched Kristian's arms. I told Miranda to quickly open her doors so I can bring Kritsian in the house. "Hurry please! Here please bring her up to this room. Please faster!" As I was walking up the stairs Miranda kept telling me to walk faster which made me annoyed. Woman. I gently layed Kristian's body on the warm bed and gazed at her. Just as the light touched her body I gasped. There were ugly bruises and scars nearly covering her whole body. Who would have done this ugly thing to her. this bastard. If this thing was caught in my hand I would kill him. Why was I feeling broken? This wasn't my concern. I walked away coldly. "Sir Montear thank you....Thank you so much!" Miranda's voice was full of concern but I just nodded my head and I quickly walked out. "SIr..."I heard Miranda's voice but I ignored it and started to walk home. 

        "Sir Montear where have you been?"
I sighed and said " None of your business. Go away I have paper work to do"
As they went away I went to my room and sat on my bed. Today was just complicated. How did she end up like that? Why was she in the forest in the first place? This was just something that kept coming in to my mind everytime I tried to do my paperwork. It was ANNOYING. She was just....I didn't care about her but I wondered what creature had done this to her. I would kill it. Just kill it. No it was NOt because I had emotions for her but that the creature betrayed the laws that kept us in line. It was going to pay dearly.
