"Y/n. Y/n!!" I heard someone say as they tried to shake me awake. I rolled my head over to see Caspian with a worried look painted on his face.

"Caspian... please tell me she had a daughter." I say softly trying to keep quiet. He looked back at the door and dragged me out of bed. He didn't say a word but I knew the King was blessed with a son. Grabbing my wrist tightly Caspian brought me to his closet. I was confused but when the backside opened revealing a passage way I understood.

Once I got a good look where I was I took a black and dark purple laced robe and got changed into women's fighting clothes. Caspian and my father taught me how to use a sword so most of my clothing is comfortable and able to practice and spar in.

"Dearest Y/n, get on the horse." my professor said quietly. Caspian looked down at me and gave me a nod. I hopped on the horse behind Caspian.

"You must make for the woods. They will not follow you there." He said looking up at Caspian and I. "It has taken me many years to find this. Do not use this except at your greatest need." He said handing Caspian a wrapped up horn.

"Will I ever see you again?" Caspian asks with a shaney and frightened voice. I glanced at Caspian's watering eyes and looked down at my Professor.

"I dearly hope so. There is so much more I need to tell you both." Professor said. He always told us both everything from stories and tales of our parents.

"Caspian, Y/n, everything is about to change." As he finished his sentence there was a yell from a Telmarine guard. Before we could say anything else six men on horses came and we were forced to leave.

I held on to Caspian, each bump made me tighten my grip around his waist. We crossed the bridge trying to increase the speed when we saw multiple guards chasing after us. We got to an open field and continued for the woods. I've never been in the woods and neither has Caspian.

We crossed the forest and field line without hesitation and a word to each other. We could hear the stomping of horses slow down and reach a stop. A slight smile appeared on my face when I finally thought they gave up. As we grew further into the forest it was hard to see anything that stood out. It was all the same, only trees and bushes.

But then I saw water, it was a lake. The edge has small rocks bigger than sand.

"Hold on Y/n." Caspian told me. I didn't say anything, just held onto him tighter. We hit the water and didn't slow down when it got deeper. The water for to the point where it was too deep for the horse to go it's full speed. Caspian with a worried look glanced back at the soldiers still following us.

Their horses were struggling a lot more their ours, falling over in the water and not pacing themselves brought their speed down quickly. We got out of the dark lake and headed into the edge of the forest.

"Did we loose them?" I asked him quietly. He looked at me and everything around us, the horse not stopping once.

"I don't know, we have to keep going though." He said as we jumped over a fallen tree. We looked back to make sure no one was behind us when... BAM!

Caspian hit his head on a tree and dragged me down with him. We were still hooked into the horse so we had no choice but to stay there and try to unhook ourselves. Leaves built up in my shirt and twigs scratched me as I scraped the ground.

Caspian lifted his chest up and got his foot and mine loose. Letting out a breath of relief, I looked at Caspian in disappointment.

"You couldn't even look in front of you to see a huge tree?" I said very quietly jokingly. He gave a slight smile but returned to his worried face when a small door opener from a tree. The worried look on my face grew to a more confused look. Two small people came out of the small door, one with his sword at the ready. He looked at Caspian and charged him.

I grabbed my sword that was only a few inches away a swung aggressively at him. He quickly blocked it and threw it away from me, I didn't have any energy to get up and that's when Caspian blew the horn Professor gave him. Before I could do anything, it all went black.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I woke up in a very small bed with my head beating in pain. I looked around unable to move my body yet and saw Caspian waking up as well. We locked at each other confused and concerned. Where were we? Who was in here with us? Trying to get up from the bed I hear a voice from the other room.

"I'll just get them some soup them." It was quite but loud enough for me and my brother both to hear it.

"Yeah well I still don't think I hit them hard enough." you heard another voice say. This one was deeper so there must be at least two people. They talked for a while arguing about me and Caspian. My brother got up from his bed and I followed him close to the opening where we could see two small figures just outside the room. Caspian closed his eyes tightly and ran outside of the room we woke up in. I followed him as he headed straight for the door. Before he could, one of them drew his sword to Caspian. He quickly pushed me behind him and backed slowly away. He grabbed one of the metal rods next to the fire and began sparing with him.

"Caspian stop! That's enough!" I say loud and angrily.

"I told you we should have killed him when we had the chance." said the little guy with the sword.

"You know why we can't!" said the other one. This was the first look I actually had of the other thing and it was not a human. It was animal, a talking animal.

"If we're taking a vote, I'm with him." Caspian said nodding his head to what seemed to be a badger.

We shared confused looks when Caspian finally gave in and sat on a ledge leading to the room this all started in.

"What... are you?" I asked with a soft voice.

"Funny. You think people would know a badger when they see one." He said going into a small indent in the room with different herbs.

"You're Narnians? You're suppose to be extinct." Caspian said looking at the person lowering his sword. He looked at me and I tried to keep my eye on either one of the people but I glanced at him. He looked confused, scared, and amazed at the same time. I looked back and took a look at the house.

"Sorry to disappoint you." the guy said walking away past the small table. The badger set down two small bowls of hot soup and told us to sit and eat.
"Since when do we give food to Telmarine soldiers and housewives." I was infuriated at this comment. I always hated that one day I would be forced into marriage. Love makes people weak and fragile, I was never going to give my life in for a man.

"I am not a soldier and she is not a housewife!" Caspian loudly said standing up. "I am Prince Caspian and this is Princess Y/n." He said softly.

"Well what are you both doing here?" said the guy confused sitting at the table.

"Running away. Our uncle has always wanted our throne." I say answering his question.

"I guess we've lived this long because he didn't have an heir of his own." Caspian said sadly looking down at the fire. "Yes, my uncle won't stop until we are dead." He said grabbing his light armor and handing me mine.

"Wait! But you can't leave. You have to fight along side of us." The badger said. "Don't you know what this is?" He said picking up Professors horn.
