*Shuichi pov*
My eyelids fluttered open to see sun shining in from the window. I looked over and saw Kokichi was gone, "Kokichi?" I muttered, still half asleep. No one answered, was that all a dream? There's no way I was dreaming, I refuse to believe that. It was real, I just know it!
"Shumai?"
The voice broke me from my thoughts. "Kokichi!" I saw him again, he was standing in the hallway with a cup of water.
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I was just a bit thirsty." Kokichi said, sipping his water.
"It's ok" I patted the spot next to me, "come sit down" He did as I said and sat right next to me, setting his cup on the coffee table in front of us. My phone buzzed, and I picked it up. It was from Miu, it read 'Wanna hang out today?' I unlocked my phone to answer, I said sure and we planned out where we would meet and when. Kokichi was looking over my shoulder.
"Who is that?" He asked me quietly.
"Miu, me and her because kinda friends after the killing game." I replied, Kokichi looked at me with a surprised expression on his face.
"Miu? The filthy cum dumpster?"
I giggled at his comment, he laughed a bit too. "Do you wanna come?" I said after I was done laughing,
"I guess so, but you can't tell her about me. Ok?" Kokichi said, I nodded my head in agreement.
"Alright, we're meeting at the mall today at 1:00" I said to him, "We can watch a movie until then if you want." I added, Kokichi nodded his head and picked up the remote from the coffee table. He turned on the tv and flipped through all the different options. We settled on a cheesy romance movie because we both like to make fun of those kinds of movies.
*time skip*
I saw Miu waiting outside, and I waved at her she looked over at me and waved back nervously. What was she scared about? Kokichi followed close behind me, though no one else could see that. I reached Miu at the entrance of the mall. "Hey, it's been a while!" I said to her, she nodded,
"Y-yeah, I forgot to t-tell you. I invited a few o-other people." She stuttered, what was she so nervous about?
"Hey guys!!" A female voice shouted from behind me, Kokichi and I turned around and saw Tenko and Kiibo. My eyes widened, I hadn't seen them in forever!!
"Kiibo! Tenko!" I yelled, they quickly walked over to us.
We headed into the mall and started talking, and to be honest I completely forgot Kokichi was there. When I did realize he was still here, I looked around for him, but I didn't see him.
"Shuichi?" Miu said, trying to get my attention.
"S-sorry, excuse m-me I have to u-use the bathroom." I said, walking off and away from the group. My feet took me into the bathroom, where I found Kokichi sitting on the little couch they usually have into public restrooms.
He was crying.
