A week had past and the gate to the soul society is finally ready to be opened. Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, and Uryu had finally gathered in front of Kisuke's shop. They were waiting for one more person while Ichigo was panicking meeting Yoruichi for the first time. "Sorry I'm late" Liksa arrived in a Japanese kimono style outfit with a dark turquoise scarf around her neck.
Uryu pushed his glasses up "So you're the last person for this mission" Liksa smiled and approached the group "Yes, and again apologies for being tardy. I had to send Ela on a little errand"
Kisuke opened the Shoji doors into his shop "Now that everyone's here let's get going"

The mission has it's ups and downs to say the least. Gaining a new ally, Ganju was a questionable one Liksa had to admit. Saying that he was useless was a bit too harsh, but saying that he was helpful was far fetched.
Liksa intended to only gather information and leave most of the rescuing to Ichigo and the others. In the end she intervened a couple of times, when Ichigo fought with Renji and Kenpachi. Although Ichigo managed to deal with them he needed medical assistance immediately.
She now knew what Yoruichi had meant, she was to ensure the safety of the whole rescue party.
Because she needed to be at Ichigo's side at the time it was unfortunate that Chad had been taken by the Squad Eight Captain, Shunsui Kyoraku. Liksa left Ichigo in Yoruichi's care before leaving to investigate the soul society.
In the soul society Liksa took note of the on goings of the court guard squad captains, in turn learning something deeper is at play regarding Rukia's execution. From how the captains were wary of one another, regarding the murder of the Squad Five Captain, Sosuke Aizen. Fortunately Liksa was at the scene when the late captains body was found and right away she noticed it wasn't a real body.
Liksa kept an eye on a particular Captain, Toshiro Hitsugaya Captain of Squad Ten. She felt herself watching and searching for him, she knew exactly why. The resemblance to her long lost companion was uncanny, while their personalities differ, they look physically similar to one another.
