Chapter 12: Saying Goodbyes

A thick purple liquid sat inside an elegant vial "This is the core separation serum.. Are you sure you don't want to take it in Assyria?" Micah handed over the vial over to Liksa. She shook her head "It's.. fine I want to stay a bit longer in here" Micah pinched his nose "Please just make sure to get a lot of rest after taking it okay?"

Liksa nodded and reached to pat Micah on the head "You'll come to collect my core in 4 days right?" Micah smiled although still not satisfied with the choice his master had made "Yes, I'll see you soon" Micah and Liksa said their goodbyes before Micah entered the portal.

Liksa stared at the vial "Here we go again" She opened it and chugged its contents "Damn, it tastes worse than I remembered" Not long after Liksa felt dizzy and her knees buckled to the ground.

"That was fast, I can't believe Uriel managed to make it even more potent" Liksa chuckled and laid her back against the table "It's better this way, it's better to make everyone think I died rather than disappeared, at least they won't be searching for me"

Liksa slowly got up she could slowly feel herself loosing control of her body. She took a deep breath and got up, Liksa made her way into her bedroom and flopped herself onto the soft linen. Not long after, slumber over took her mind.

Day 1

That day Liksa woke up later than usual. She took her time doing her morning routine "Everyone is staying at Orihime's house" She said while mixing a cup of tea. After drinking it she made her way to school.

Liksa stood at the door way "I'm going to miss going to school" She opened the door, only to be greeted by her classmates "Good morning Liksa" Michiru greeted. Liksa smiled and waved "Morning, you're unusually late today" Tatsuki joked.

Liksa laughed "Morning to you to Tatsuki, I'm just feeling a bit under the weather recently" Liksa set her bag down on her table "Oh no, if you're feeling sick you should just stay at home" Michiru fussed.

Michiru Ogawa, a kind girl she's the close friend of Orihime and Tatsuki. She was one of the first people to welcome Liksa into Karakura high school. Liksa got quite close to Michiru as their seat arrangements are next to each other.

"I'm fine Michiru, I really am and I like going to school so it's no big deal" Liksa tried to convince her, but to no avail "Michiru's right you know, I'm sure the teacher wouldn't mind" Tatsuki scolded.

Liksa shook her head "No really, I like going to school, I really don't want to miss today" Tatsuki sighed "You're the only person I know that like school this much you know that?" The three of them laughed at Tatsuki's blunt remark.

Liksa spent the rest of her day laughing with her friends at Karakura Highschool. It was definitely tiring as her stamina was quickly depleating. Her movements were slower and she even had to take a break in the school infirmary.

When school was over Tatsuki and Michiru insisted that they walk Liksa home, but again she declined.

Liksa was on her way home enjoying the scenery, she wasn't here for very long, but she has grown attached to this world. The clicking of her shoes stopped in front of a small candy shop 'I should visit today, while I still have strength' She slid the shoji door open and entered the shop.
