What Liksa said had came true, everyone is engaging in a battle of their own. Liksa herself didn't fight, but she was scrambling in her house in order to ready herself. She was heavily concerned with the vision she had, the soul reapers that was sent to the world of the living were gravely injured.
And most of all Ichigo with the hollow mask. Liksa silently evacuated the humans that were caught in the cross fire between the officers and the Arrancars in an unfavorable way, to the bystanders at least by knocking them out cold.
Not only that, Liksa worked behind the scenes to keep the damages from the battle to a minimum. Liksa didn't have the slightest intention of interfering in the fight between the soul reapers and the Arrancar.
Liksa had finished the preparation for damage control and managed to arrive just on time for Gentei Kaijo to release and watch as the action unfold. Liksa watched from a distance when Toshiro released a final attack on Shawlong Koufang, she smiled to herself.
"Well done.." Liksa said out loud. But not long after it seems the impact of the battle had finally settled in and Toshiro fell to the ground. Liksa's eyes widened and she launched herself to catch Toshiro. Liksa managed to catch him and the both of them landed on the roof of a building.
"Captain!" Rangiku yelled and ran towards her squad leader. Liksa laid Toshiro down on the ground and kneeled beside him. Rangiku arrived on the roof "Captain! Liksa!" Rangiku herself wasn't in the best of shapes. "It's alright Lieutenant Matsumoto, He was just pushing himself too much" Liksa placed a hand on Toshiro's forehead.
Rangiku panted and called for Orihime to heal Toshiro. "Thank you for catching him" Rangiku smiled, Liksa returned the smile "It's alright, you should rest now. You did a good job" Liksa moved Toshiro's head onto her lap and gently caressed his hair while waiting for Orihime.
Rangiku stared at the two and grinned "So Liksa, It seems like you care a lot for the captain" Liksa's body stiffened and the hand that was stroking Toshiro's head stopped. Liksa went silent, causing Rangiku to think she had said something wrong as she saw Liksa's expression went blue.
Liksa closed her eyes and smiled bitterly "Yes, yes I do" Rangiku sighed and happily chatted away trying to push Liksa as for the reason she cared for Toshiro, Liksa softly avoided every question, causing Rangiku to pout.
Not Long after Orihime arrived with Rangiku's gigai to treat Toshiro. "Liksa you're here?" Liksa waved at Orihime as she rushed to treat Toshiro. Liksa put Toshiro's head on the ground as Orihime began treating him "Soten Kisshun I reject!" Liksa stared at the shield Orihime created. "Orihime" Liksa called out, Orihime looked at Liksa "Yes Liksa?" "Believe in yourself, your powers are yours and only you can use them." 'Orihime hasn't been herself lately, I can feel her powers weakening. It's most likely because of distressed state'
Orihime stared at Liksa, confused as she just said that out of no where "Your emotions are your greatest power, shall you falter.. So will your powers. And it's best if you don't use powers in front of your enemies" The other girls stayed silent "What do you mean Liksa?"
