I Thought I'd Never See You Again

Sam woke up to an ache in his lower back, "ugh" sam groaned rolling over thinking Jax went a little harder than usual. 

But when Sam rolled over he was facing the back of a naked man. At first it didn't faze him. That was until he realized that wasn't Jax. This man was smaller than the six foot two muscly giant Sam was used to seeing in the mornings.

More importantly he knew exactly who that was. The tattoo of an 'x' on his back was a dead give away. "Shit" Sam groaned once more rolling over, this time to stuff his face in the pillow underneath him.

One thing Sam knew from living with then man for so long was that Colby Brock was a heavy sleeper. So maybe just maybe he could get out of this one alive. So Sam began debating strategized on how exactly to conduct his escape.

While Sam was slowly planning his escape Colby rolled over in his sleep wrapping his arms around the blonde and holding him tightly. They were now face to face and chest too chest.

"Shit" Sam groaned once again. Now everything had totally gone to shit. Sam was trapped with no escape he prayed Colby would not awaken.Worst of all he had cheated on Jax! What was he going to tell his boyfriend.

As Sam was left alone with his thoughts Colby began to wake up. When Colby realized he was in a bed with another person. He smirked happy that he finally got laid for the first time in a while. he also noticed it was a guy and that made him smirk even more considering it been even longer since he was with a dude.

"Morning" Colby mumbled his morning voice echoing through the room.

Sam was to trapped in his thoughts to notice or hear Colby because the fact that he no longer had a boyfriend had just occurred to him. Jax cheated on him so he went home and, and, and... he couldn't remember anything past that.

Then Colby opened his eyes "SAM!" Colby yelled pushing himself away from the blond and staring shocked.

Sam still didn't respond his eyes were shut tight as he wished everything could just be normal and Colby just stared at the other man.

As Colby stared he tried desperately to remember what happened after he and the boys arrived at the party. But he could only remember one thing. "I remember kissing you... Why do I remember kissing you?"

Sam finally opened his eye releasing tears over everything that had happened within the last few hours. "I-I-I'm s-sorry" Sam cried pulling the planet up over his face. "He-he and then I" Sam sobbed.

Colby didn't know what to say as he looked at the crying blonde all he wanted was to hold him close and wipe away every last one of Sam's tears. But he couldn't. He also couldn't bring himself to leave. 

He wasn't 100% sure but considering the fact the he was naked and Sam probably was too. Colby assumed they did a little more than kiss last night.

Colby was ripped out of his thoughts by Sam's sweet angelic voice stuttering "Can-can't w-we just go b-back to the w-way things were be-before?"

Colby closed his eyes and rubbed his forehead. "We'd have to go back before we met to make what you've done go away"

"okay" Sam mumbled opening his eyes ever so slightly "don't leave me. Not yet. We can go back to hating each other if it makes it easier, just don't leave me"

Sam began crying harder and it broke Colby's heart as he remembered through his drunken state seeing the blond stumble through the front door with tears streaming down his face.

"please, I just need my best friend right now" Sam cried. At that Colby immediately grabbed Sam pulling him closer and hugging him tightly.

"I'm not going anywhere Sammy, I'm right here."

"your staying?" Sam looked up with wide watery eyes "for me?"

Colby stared, for a moment, before sighing. "No more fighting"

"Sam and Colby vs the World" Sam smiled.

"Sam and Colby vs the World" Colby smiled back.

Sam cried silently into Colby's chest and Colby just held him. But, Colby wasn't quite sure if he could forgive Sam yet. As much as he hated the blond, he still couldn't stand to see Sam upset.

"He cheated on me" Sam mumbled sleepily. "I probably deserved it"

Sam then closed his eyes one last time falling into a deep sleep.

Colby had to think for a minute before he realized what exactly Sam had said. He cheated. Who cheated. Oh wait, Sam's boyfriend. What was the guys name... John... Jacob... Jeremy... Johnson... Jack... Oh yeah Jax. He seemed like an asshole. Honestly Colby wasn't surprised. Jax had even tried hitting on him the other day.

"You didn't deserve it Sam, He didn't deserve you, Neither did Katrina" Colby looked down at the sleeping blonde planting a sweet kiss on his forehead "You deserve the World Sammy"

Sam woke up three hours later to a tear stained face and an empty bed and the tears came out once more.

Colby was gone.
