"Famous singer Katrina Stuart's new album 'Brokeback' out now in stores and on iTunes. Make sure to tune in tomorrow to hear..."
"Alex, can you turn that stupid piece of shit off" Colby yelled as he was trying to edit his latest Youtube video informing his recently reached 10 Million subscribers of the fact that he and his roommates would in fact be moving. He did not want to hear that name on the radio. It brought up too many bad memories.
"Shut up Colby! There going to say something about us" Liam yelled in repose to Colby's outburst.
Colby had been living in Chicago for about ten years now ever since he had left LA swearing never to go back. He lived on his own for a while in a shitty little apartment until he and his ex-girlfriend and now best friend broke up. After Sadie moved to LA Colby decide to move in with some of his friends. So that's how he found himself living in a penthouse apartment with a popular Youtube cover band called "Late Night Escape". The band consisted of four members.
Liam who was kinda the leader and 'parent' of the group. He even looked the part keeping his light brown hair short and simple. Alex was the go to funny guy who made everyone laugh. Him and Colby were the closest out of the whole group since they both loved to cause trouble. Not to mention the fact that the two guys practically looked like twins. Then there was Connor the quiet guy that mostly kept to himself but had an amazing voice. he was also the cute blond boy that all of the girls adored. Last but defiantly not least the lady chaser of the group Tristan. Tristan always, always had a girlfriend. But never stayed in a relationship for more three months. But let's just say his good looks and charm never left him single for very long.
"On another note the YouTube cover band 'Late Night Escape' may have just hit there big break having realeased their first ever original song 'Chicago's lights'...."
"Nice", "Yess!", "We were on the radio" Came a chorus of voices before Colby laughed congratulating his friends.
"I can't believe the song you wrote is doing so well" Liam smiled patting Connor on the back.
"Th-thanks Li" Connor stuttered.
"Okay dude well good job. But I'm trying to edit this stupid video." Colby glared at his roommates.
"Some ones in a bad mood" Alex laughed plopping himself down next to Colby and looking at his computer screen to see what exactly he was editing.
"He's just upset that he agreed to move to LA with us" Tristan laughed. "But man just imagine the babe's."
Colby sighed ignoring his friend. "The only reason I agreed was so that I can be closer to Izzy." Colby finished up his video hitting upload before closing his computer. "I don't ever get to see her as much as I want."
"Colby honestly. LA can't be that bad." Liam said taking a seat on the couch across from him.
"It isn't." Colby sighed "I just used to have a lot of friends there. Close friends who I cut off all contact with a long time ago." Colby leaned down laying across Alex's legs. "They don't even know I have a kid"
The room was silent for a minute.
"Does anyone want to order pizza?"
-----
"wow" Connor exclaimed dropping his bag on the floor of the new house in LA.
"Awesome" Colby and Alex yelled running inside and jumping on their new couch.
"Colby! Alex! No shoes on the freaking couch" Liam screamed.
"This house alone is going to get me sooooo much action" Tristan smirked.
"This is so soft" Colby sighed laying back on the couch kicking his shoes across the room and taking in the view. There house was located on a hill allowing them to look out over a larger portion of their new city.
"I'm going to my room." Connor mumbled grabbing his bag and quickly running upstairs.
"What's climbed up his ass" Alex laughed and Colby joined in.
"He probably wants to get to writing some stupid song about the crappy plane that made my ass hurt." Liam complained relaxing on one of the soft couches.
"Are you sure you didn't have too much fun in the bathroom Li" Tristan laughed thrusting his hips and faking a moan.
"Seriously" Liam rolled his eyes before standing up and tackling Tristan to the floor.
Colby and Alex just laughed as Liam easily over powered Tristan. "Ugh fine you win this time" Tristan mumbled giving up the fight. Liam crawled off of him and Tristan dusted his pants before glancing at the clock. "I'm going out to the club. Any of you want to join?"
"Yeah sure" Liam replied going to grab his coat.
"Totally man" Alex yelled jumping off the couch turning to look at Colby "You coming C"
"Naw, I'm good" Colby laughed at Alex's nickname for him "Sadie's coming over later and said Izzy's super excited to see me."
"What ever! See ya man" Alex smirked giving Colby a fist bump.
"Get some well your at it" Tristan laughed heading out the door with Liam.
"You should tell them" Alex told Colby once Tristan and Liam left the room.
"Not yet" Colby sighed checking his phone to see a text from Sadie saying she'll be right over.
-----
"How's my beautiful ballerina" Colby smiled holding his arms open for his ten year old daughter to jump into them.
"I'm great, Dad!" Isabella laughed happily hugging her father. "Mom said that I get to spend every other week with you now. Is that true?"
"Yes it is baby girl" Colby said happy he would get to see the girl much more often now.
"Im not a baby anymore dad! I'm ten!" Isabella pouted.
"Your still my baby girl" Colby laughed kissing her forehead before giving Sadie a hug happy to see one of his best friends again.
