"Home is wherever I'm with you."

Jo was wandering the corridors one day when she passed Mcgonagall's office. As she passed, she heard voices through the door.
She could hear the professor's stern voice scolding a student, "You cannot go around and beat up another student whenever you feel like it, Mr. Malfoy."
'Draco had beat someone up?' She thought to herself.
Mcgonagall's voice continued, "You're lucking you're not getting expelled." Jo scrunches her eyebrows, leaning in closer to the door, "Mr. McLaggen was in rather bad shape when he showed up to the infirmary today."
Jo's mouth opened in shock. He had beat up Cormac? She heard a mumble of "That is all, you may leave now", signaling Malfoy would be walking out the door any second. She quickly ducked behind the corner before he could spot her.
She couldn't help but let a small smile creep on her lips at the thought of Draco's fist meeting with Cormac's face.

two months later......
Draco and Jo haven't been the same for the past two months. Almost no words have been shared between the two, Draco being too busy with his task and wanting to protect the girl he loves. Yes, you heard that right. Loves. Draco knew he loved Jo for about a month now. He realized his true feelings for her while he's been without her. Without Jo, he felt empty. He had no light in his life when she wasn't in it.
Jo has been feeling guilty ever since they last talked. After all, their last conversation was a fight that she started. That fight has been the only thing on her mind these past months, fogging up her head. Draco is distant, and she thinks it is all her fault. Maybe she should've dropped the subject. Maybe she should have trusted him. Maybe she should have ignored Harry. Would they still be on speaking terms if she did? Maybe.
"Hey Enzo?" Jo asks calmly. The two best friends are currently walking to dinner, his arm draping over her shoulder.
"Yes, love?" He answers, turning to face her stare.
"Do you reckon I should talk to my sister?" Enzo stops in his tracks, pulling his arm off of her shoulder.
He sighs, "I think you should do what you feel is best. What is it that you want to talk to her about?"
"Nothing specific," they begin walking again, "I've just gotten the sudden urge to talk to her. Maybe even form a relationship again."
"I think that's very lovely of you, Josephine Granger." She smiles, hugging him tightly, as if she is trying to make up for the loss of contact between her and Draco.
Jo lets go of his tight embrace, feeling a pair of grey eyes on her. From the corner of her eye, she can see the blonde boy she cares so deeply for. Once she meets his cold stare, he turns the corner.
That's how it's been for the past months, random eye contact in the halls. She didn't want to chase after him, if wanted to talk to her, he would. That's why she's been letting Enzo put his arm over her shoulder, to try and get Draco's attention. She doesn't care if the attention is good or not, she just wants to be noticed.
The bright smile of Lila Snape can be seen from across the dining hall. Her pure joy and happiness creating a warm feeling from the inside for both Jo and Enzo. A smile creeps onto Jo's face as she notices Luna next to her.
Luna and Lila had been growing closer each minute these past two months, now inseparable. Jo is truly happy for them, knowing her best friend is happy brings her comfort. Maybe that's why Jo wanted to reconnect with Hermione. Maybe she saw herself losing her best friend.
