My First

Chapter 5

"Get in we are going to be late!" Yelled Sarah. My alarm clock didn't go off today so I have been running around trying to get ready. I run towards the car and realize that I don't have shoes on. I throw my stuff in the car and run back inside. I grab some shoes not looking to see what shoes they are. I get in the car and Sarah starts driving. I reach down to put my shoes on and notice that they are slippers. It was too late to go back so I just shoved me feet in the slippers. "So........" said Sarah wiggling her eyebrows. I laughed and looked down at the ground. "Aw come on! So do you like Alex or not?" Said Sarah. Honestly I had never had feelings for a guy so I wasn't sure if I was feeling love or not. When you live with boys you see all there flaws and realize what slobs they are. "I don't know. I like being near him and talking to him so I guess." I said quietly. I didn't really want Sarah to fuss about this whole guy thing. "Well it's obvious that he likes you. He doesn't let anyone come to those parties. I wasn't invited" said Sarah. I heard a little bit of jealousy as she said the last sentence. Sarah strived to be popular like the others. I honestly could care less about what people think. We finally got to school after a long awkward silence. After I got my books I headed to my classes. As I walked something bumped into me. I put my hands out ready for the impact but then at the last moment someone caught me. I was looking right into Alex's eyes. They were a beautiful ocean blue color. I smiled at me and said, lThere you are." I wasn't sure what he meant by that but I wasn't going to let anything ruin this moment. Alex placed me on my feet and we walked to class together. At first I was nervous that it was just going to be awkward silence but Alex made conversation. "Um..so are you going to go to the party?" Asked Alex. "I'm thinking about it. I'm not sure though. I won't know many people. It might just be too much for me." I said. "You'll have me there." He said as he stepped in front of me. He was right I front of me now. Our faces were inches apart. He started leaning in for I think a kiss but I turned my head. "I-I have n-never kissed anyone b-before." I stuttered. I was afraid that I would anger him or that he would laugh at me. "Then let me be your first." He said as he leaned in again. This time I let him kiss me. It was amazing. When he kissed me it felt as if time itself had stopped and we were the only people there. All I could say was "Wow."

Buzz. I was sitting on the couch reading a book when my phone went off. I looked down and saw that it was from Alex. I guess we were now together. Boyfriend and girlfriend. It was all so new to me.

A- "I'll be at your house at 8:00. Be ready to party!"

M- "Alright. See you then."

I looked at my watch and saw that it was almost 7:00. I got up and headed up the stairs. I picked out a short black party dress. After my shower I put it on and began on make up. I decided that O ahold do something fun with my boring black straight hair. I grabbed my curling iron and began curling. It took a while but I had finally finished curling my hair. The next thing was getting my make up on point. I had a neutral color of eye shadow and black eye liner. I also had so mascara. Then I added a touch of blush and lipstick. Since my dress was black I wanted some bright lipstick. I chose a cute red color that was stunning. Finally, I had to find some heals. To match my lipstick I found a pair of red heals. I was finally ready for this party. Buzz.

A- "Outside your house."

M- "I be down in one second"

I grabbed my hand purse and headed for the stairs. "Where are you going?" My brother Mike asked me. "I'm going to a party with my friend. Tell mom I'll be back soon." I said while walking down the stairs. I walked through the door and got in Alex's car. I couldn't help but think how this party was going to go.
