The Miko and the Demon (Sesshomaru x Kagome)

Sango almost beats the living shit out of Inuyasha

Inuyasha and Friends (not for long):

A few days after Kagome left, Inuyasha and the gang were getting a bad feeling. However, they didn't think too much of it, as Kagome had a tendency to leave for a few days at a time when she was angry with Inuyasha. Miroku and Sango asked Inuyasha what he did and if he had been seeing Kikiyo again, and he flinched with a slightly guilty look that confirmed their suspicions.

After 3 days, Kaede gave them the letter. Sango had an ominous feeling, but hesitantly opened it:

Dear friends and Inuyasha,

I have decided not to put up with Inuyasha's betrayals anymore. I am sick of his insults, and he has caused me too much pain and heartbreak. I am not just a share detector, and I'm more than just a copy of Kikyo. And henceforth, I will not tolerate anyone who says or thinks otherwise. I am leaving the group to hunt for shards on my own, since it is still my responsibility to restore the Shikon Jewel.

Sango: I have always thought of you as a dear sister, and I'm sorry if my leaving causes you any sorrow. I will be back one day. Also, don't keep pushing Miroku away, you know he loves you.
Miroku: Try to pursue Sango without lecherous thoughts or actions ; you might see a difference. You were like a brother to me, and always cheered me up when I was down.
Kaede: Thank you for teaching me all that you know about herbs and plants, it was a great help. You were always there for me when I needed help.
If HE is reading this, I have no words for HIM or that clay pot.

PS: Shippo, if you wish it, I would take you too too, but it will likely be too dangerous for you to go with me. I'm sorry, and I will probably be back. Probably. But know that I'll always love you. Goodbye everyone.

Shippo immediately started sobbing and screaming at Inuyasha to bring her back. Miroku and Sango were furious, to say the least, but they were also were also blushing from what the letter had said.

"Why didn't you show us this earlier, you hag?!" Inuyasha's yelled abrasively .
"Lady Kagome asked me not to." There was a twinkle in her eye that Inuyasha didn't like.

Sango spoke up next. " INUYASHA!!! How dare you!? You openly insulted her in the most horrible way possible while flirting with that thing! I demand that you search for her immediately, and once you find her, leave her alone! If it is her decision to leave, I support it. But we have to find her and make sure she is safe first." Once she finished her angry rant, Inuyasha turned around, arms folded stubbornly.

"Of course I'm going after the wench. I'm not just letting her leave." Sango was so furious at his calm and seemingly uncaring demeanor that Miroku had to hold her back from beating Inuyasha to a bloody pulp with Hiraikotsu. He couldn't stop her from giving the dog demon a good whack to the head, however.

Kaede knew Kagome wanted to be left alone at least for a little while, so she stalled."I suggest ye pack, buy some supplies, and then leave, as I know for a fact that she went to the well first. Kagome may not even have returned, so ye have time, child." Miroku and Sango agreed, and after some persuasion, Inuyasha.

"Keh, the wench better be safe," Inuyasha said, finally appearing slightly guilty. He rubbed the bump on his head where Sango's rage had made its mark.

Meanwhile.. With Sesshomaru ( just as Kagome returned from her time.)

Rin jumped happily when Lord Sesshomaru told her that they would be going near the village that his brother lived, as that meant being close to Shippo! And Lady Kagome too! They had met a few times, and she had so much fun... This was going to be interesting....
