At lunch, I sat at the table by myself when someone sat in front of me. Rolling my eyes, it was Scarlet. She had a smile on her face, "Damn, it's been awhile. It's definitely been awhile since we sat and talked like good friends."
"Yeah, which was what? Two years ago? Look Scarlet, I know you and you're the same thing as me, a conniving person."
She crossed her legs, "Well if you say so."
"You know so, Scarlet, don't act like you're damn Mother Theresa up in here."
She chuckled, "I mean after the Jett situation and we fought, I was thinking it was her fault with the roof thing."
To tell you the truth, I wasn't there when she pushed that guy off the roof. It was her and her other friends. After it happened, she was hysterical when she called me on the phone. I could barely hear what she was saying since she was babbling and crying.
"How?" Her statement peaked my interest, I raised my eyebrow, waiting for what she was going to say next.
"She told me about that Ellis, Dennis, whatever his name is, was trying to run me out of town because of what I did, but I know and I didn't do anything."
I nodded, signaling for her to continue.
"She said that he hated me because I tried to steal some money or whatever. I don't know," she shrugged and continued, "I confronted her about it and she acted like she didn't tell me anything. When I went to jail the first time, she called me and told me the truth."
"You didn't take anything from him?" I repeated slowly with an eyebrow raised.
She shook her head, "No."
I didn't believe this bitch. I knew one of her friends that was there with her the night it happened. If she thought I wasn't going to do some snooping of my own.
"Ok....," I trailed off.
She sighed and straightened herself, "So, how's everything?"
I glanced at her like she had two heads and five arms, "Same."
"I know you're still weary of me being back, but you have believe me, I-," I cut her off.
"I've changed," I mimicked her in her voice and rolled my eyes, "Girl bye." I waved her off.
"Since there's no convincing you, I guess I'll go to class," she gathered her things and went inside the main building. She infuriated the hell out of me. I didn't want to see her, I didn't want her here.
Minutes later, I headed back inside and saw her on the phone, I slowly went on the other side so she wouldn't see me and listened in, "Hello?"
"No, she doesn't believe me. This was going to be harder than I thought."
There was silence.
"Well, of course, she's damn Autumn Lewis, this bitch is a hard female to get through," she said.
I smirked.
"She has no damn idea."
There was more silence and she finally said, "No, she's going down."
"........Ok, bye." I silently speedwalked to the bathroom and went inside the stall.
I knew she was putting up an act. The only thing I gave her props for was she knew who she was dealing with. Me.
She knew she couldn't fool me with her Mother Theresa act. To get my mind off of her, I went up to a girl that was sitting by herself and whispered, "Someone told me that Irina has a tape with Dean, Callie's boyfriend."
She gasped and told the people that were nearest to her. Minutes later, everyone was talking about it. "What the flying rat's ass?? Irina is never getting back with Tyler, especially after hearing this, he's not having it," a girl said.
"Where the hell is she?!" Callie ran into the hallway, pushing her way through groups of students. She went into the next hallway, with a crowd following after her. I walked after them.
She finally found Irina by her locker, checking her makeup with her hand mirror. Callie grabbed it out of her hand and threw it on the floor.
"What the hell??!" Irina screeched.
"You need to stop fucking with my man, hoe! I heard you have a tape with him!"
Irina was confused, "What?? I don't have a tape, if anyone has one, it's you! Remember?? You, Ali, Lenia, Elena, and Dean two years ago??" She turned furious.
It dawned on Callie that she was the pot calling the kettle black. The crowd oohed.
Irina continued, "You're a hoe too, Callie, bitch, your legs are open like the damn 7/11!"
"Oooh!" The crowd said.
Out of nowhere, Tria added, "Irina, your legs are opened wider than the Grand Canyon, so you have no room to talk."
The students hissed as they started recording what was going on in front of them.
Irina glared at her, "Trio, you're still mad? Bitch, you've been trying to get with Tyler for how long?? I already had him and I've known him for months before we started dating. You've known each other your whole lives and still never went out! You're still trying to be with him! You have been friendzoned, you have dismissed."
"Damn!!" The students hissed. "The shade that has been thrown can cool us all off!" Tasha said.
"Yet, he doesn't want you back, so goodbye," Tria snapped.
"Callie's a hoe too, hell, she's so irrelevant, I forgot she waa even there," Irina said.
Callie replied in a clipped voice, "I'm revelant, I'm here and in your face!"
"Girl, Dean doesn't even like being with you, you're just a good lay and that's it, he only made it official to get more ass from you. Besides, you drag him like he's a dog on a leash, I wouldn't be surprised if he was screwing with Irina," Tria said.
The crowd oohed as they continued to watch.
Callie glared at her and charged after Irina, making her lose her balance and fall on the floor with Irina on top. She was slapping her upside the head as Callie pulled her hair.
Tria jumped in and punched Irina in the face, earning her a slap in the mouth by Irina. Heads were whipping, hair was being pulled, students were recording, and I was enjoying the scene that was in front of me.
While they were being separated, Callie tried to kicked Irina, but ended up hitting the guy was holding her back. Tria tried to break away from the person's grasp, but failed. All of their hair was messed up and all over the place. They looked like they ran through a jungle.
Once the crowd dispersed and went to class, I went to my locker. While I was getting my books, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I turned around. It was Scarlet.
She smirked with her arms folded across her chest, "Classic, Autumn Lewis, still starting rumors, I see."
I closed my locker and returned a smirk, "Of course, you can go to class now."
She was taken back by my gesture. I figured, let me pretend like I was buying her 'changed' act. I was following what my mother told me: keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer.
After she left, I pulled out my phone and decided to call one of her 'friends'.
