When I woke up Chanbyeok was gone, I checked my phone and my notifications were strangely clear.

Pulling myself out of bed I got dressed and brushed my teeth all of that and then some. I decided to walk to the shop today, I knew Hoseok would bombard me with questions so I prepared myself to answer them.

I still couldn't believe it, my father was gone, my dear papa was dead.

Shaking me head to clear me of my thoughts I grab my phone and walk into the kitchen.

Should I eat breakfast?... No I can wait...

I head out the door making my way to the shop, ignoring all the passerbys and people of my town saying hello.

I didn't mean to ignore them, I just couldn't handle then at the moment.

Soon enough I was there, at the door of the floral shop contemplating on leaving, but I promised Hoseok so I pushed my way through the door.

He turned around and looked at me. God I felt so bad for ignoring him.

"I'm so sorry Hoseok theres just been so much going on and I can't deal with it all."

Of course I was crying, but I should be able to cry right? Why did I feel so bad for crying?

The tears ran down my cheek onto the floor, Hoseok wasted no time in comforting me.
He held the back of my head softly into his chest resting his chin in the top of my head.

He smelled like maple brown sugar, it was comforting and making me regret not eating breakfast.

After I'd let everything out I explained what happened and why I ignored him and expressed that I felt horrible.

"Don't worry about it Linnie just please answer my calls so I don't have to worry."

Tears threatened to start falling again hearing that name but I soaked it in.

The day went by rather normally, nothing out of the ordinary, hobi successfully distracted me from everything with his goofy jokes and antics.

Before we knew it, it was time to close shop, the sun had went down and we'd been working tending to flowers all day.

"Where is your car? I don't see it outside."

Hoseok looked at me with a confused look on his face his lips slight turned into a pout.

"Oh I walked."

"I'm going to drive you home. "

"That's not-"

"Yes it is get your things I'm taking you home."

I didn't question him and just grabbed my phone and leftover lunch.

"I'm ready."

He nods grabbing his keys, he looked very serious and the way he was standing as he looked out the window reflected that.

"Whats the matter Hoseok?"

"There's someone outside...

He gripped his keys as we walked out to his car. We quickly put on our seatbelts as he started the car and drove off. The ride was quiet for the most part. He walked me up to my apartment and we parted ways.

I unlock the door and find Namjoon sitting at my kitchen table

"So are you guys watching me in shifts or can I be an adult?"

Namjoon clenched his jaw and looked at me and I instantly regret even speaking.

"Your coworker friend-"

"Hoseok"

"Hoseok, will inadvertently be watching you while you're there and I will watch you here because right now I can't trust you.

I bite my bottom lip and nod going to my room to put my things on my bed and get comfortable, I laid on my stomach and couldn't get two seconds of piece before the big bear of a man laid on top of me.

" AHK! JOON!"

"PREPARE YOURSELF!"

"JOON NO!!"

He began to tickle me and I began to kick and laugh.

"STOP! STOP!"

"Only if you'll eat dinner with me!

" OKAY OKAY! I'LL EAT WITH YOU!"

Namjoon got off of me smiling mischievously.

Something was different when I looked at him, I felt...different.

I got up and collected myself before following him into the living room.

I sat on the couch as he brought the good in and turned on the TV

"What should we watch?"

"Uh... How about Stranger Things?"

He started the episode where we left of a while ago, binge watching together was hard with our schedules.
