The drive up to the cabin was beautiful. The higher up in the mountains we got, the snowier it got. As the sun rose higher, it reflected off the the snow, making shine brightly. There were a few clouds in the sky. "We're almost there." Jimin says catching my attention. I notice he turns off the main road and onto a dirt path into the trees. The path was a little hard d to see, considering it was starting to become covered by snow.

Another 20 minutes and we were pulling up to a small cabin. We both get and the cold air hits my face. My breath seen with every exhale. I look around and the first thing my eyes notice is an f wooden swing hanging from a large tree. Jimin and his sister probably used to play on it. I notice some trails going into the forest of trees as well.

I turn around to see Jimin already unloading the trunk. I decided to help him out and grab some of the stuff. Once everything was out, he closes the trunk and we both start walking to the cabin. Walking up the three little stairs, I look around the porch as Jimin fumbles with the keys. One side has two chairs and a small table. The other side has a chair swing and a small chair hanging from the ceiling from a rope.

He finally gets the door open and we both walk in. I first notice a couch with a small coffee table in front of it. There's a small tv with bookshelves on both side filled with a bunch of things ranging from movies to boards games. I look to my left and see a kitchen and a small dining table with four chairs. I then see a hallways which I assume lead to a couple of bedrooms.

It's small but cozy. "Come on, this way." He says and leads me to that hallway. I was right, there's two bedrooms and bathroom. "We actually have running water up here, so the bathroom works." I just nod as he continues showing me. He leads me into one of the bedrooms. It has a queen sized bed, two little side tables, a dresser, a chair in the corner and a few things decorating the walls. "You can have this room." I set my stuff down and I follow him to the door on the opposite side.

It has two twin sized beds. It's almost set up the same way as the other room. I guess the room he's letting me stay in is where his parents would be and this room his where he and his sister stayed, considering there's two beds. "And I'll be in this one." He sets his stuff down as well. We walk back out in the living area. "Oh. I'll be right back. The generator is outside, I'll go start it real quick." I nod a leaves.

I take the time to look at the picture hanging on the wall. There's tons of Jimin with his family. Some of them he looks so little. A lot of them were taken while it was snowy up here. But there was one that it looked like it could've been summer. It was him and his sister standing knee deep in the lake making a goofy face at the camera. He looks about 13, maybe 14 in that picture. His sister looking just a little younger than him.

Lights come on and he I hear him come back in. "Hey, do you mind helping me grab some wood for the fire place." I turn to see him peeking his head in the door. "Sure." I smile at him and walk outside. I follow him to the side of the cabin and see a decent sized pile of logs stacked up. I hold my arms out and he starts stacking some in my arms.

"Hey! Not too much! I'm sort of a weakling." I pout and he just giggles. "Alright, I'll meet you inside." I turn around and head back inside. He comes in not to long after me. "You can set them over here." He sets them in an empty spot by the fireplace. He throws couple in it and lights it up so can warm up a bit in here. I check the time on my phone and notice it almost 1 and we haven't eaten anything. I also noticed there's no service up here.

"Hey, I'll start unpacking the food and make us some lunch." I say and he looks up at me with a smile. "Ok." After a little bit, I got all the food and snacks put away, and I end just making us some turkey sandwiches. As I was doing so, Jimin came and stood on the other side of the counter. I slide him his sandwich. "Want any chips?" I asks and he nods. I put some on both of our plates.

He takes a bite of his sandwich and I put a few chips in mine. "You put chips in your sandwich?" I look up to see him with a raised eyebrow and still chewing. "Says the one who dips their fries in milkshakes." I take a bite and start chewing. "Don't knock it til you try it." I raise an eyebrow and mimic him from the first time we had gone to the diner. He swallows and his lips are in a pouted smile. He then sets his sandwich down and takes the bread off, putting chips on it. He picks it back up and takes a bite.

He starts chewing and narrows his eyes at me. "Ok, it's not bad." He playfully rolls his eyes and groans, causing no me to laugh.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing and talking since we were both tired from the long drive. I was currently in the room I'm staying, putting my clothes in the dresser when I hear a knock. I turn to see Jimin standing in the door way. "Hey." I say and he walks towards me with a smile. "I brought you some hot chocolate." He holds a mug out in front of me and I smile. "Thank you." As I grab it from him, our fingers slightly touch and I suck in a small breath of air.

He looks back up at him and flash a quick smile. "Well I'll uh.. let you get settled in." He stutters and flashes a quick smile before turning and leaving the room. I hold the mug with both and hands and smile as I look down at it. I take a sip and look in the mirror. There's a slight blush on my face and I sigh.

This is going to be a long week..
