After the whole thing the first day we got here, it was a little awkward. We still talked, it was just weird. But the last two day, it's like it didn't happen. I guess Jimin is also trying to pretend it didn't happen either. It's only Wednesday and we still have til Friday, so we can't be awkward for the next three days.

We've played some games. I destroyed him and he faked cried saying our friendship is forever ruined. That had me laughing so hard, that I had tears rolling down my face. But then we played a game of monopoly, which went on forever by the way, and he wrecked me in that game. Said that was payback for uno. We went on different trails each day, him showing me cool spots. We were actually leaving for one right now.

As we were walking, this trail seemed to go down a little bit. Even though I said it wasn't awkward, we still didn't really talk much while walking the trail. Just little chit chat here and there. I looked up at the sky and seen it was a little overcast, and could tell it was about midday by the sun. I look down back to my left as we walked and seen a huge empty white space.

"Is that a lake?" I stop and ask. "Yeah. It's pretty fun to swim in the summer. A little cold, but still fun." Curiosity takes over and I walk towards it. Jimin follows behind. I stop by the edge and look around. There's a mountain on the other side and trees surrounding the edges of the lake.

It's frozen.. right?

I put on foot down on it, and I'm met with a hard surface. I take another slow step forward. "Uh.. Y/N. What are you doing?" I look down at my feet as I continue walking slowly. "Just want to see how far I can go out." I keep taking slow steps out and look in front of me. "Are you crazy?"

Maybe.

Still going at a slow pace, I can hear a sigh come from him. "Y/N, please be careful. It can be thinner in certain places." I nod my head, still taking careful steps. I stop for a second and move some snow with my foot. I see the ice and tilt my head. It can't see through it, so it must be pretty thick. The further I get out, the less worried I get.

Nothings happened. "Ok Y/N, can you come back now?" He slightly yells out since I'm further away. I can hear the nervousness in his voice. I turn around and see how far out I really am. So I decided to start walking back. I take two slow steps, but when I wake a third, something happened.

It sounded like a loud crack, and it echoed very loudly. My eyes slightly widen and I look up to see Jimin with wide eyes as well. I take a deep breath and take another step, only for another cracking sound to happen.

Shit..

Ok, stay calm and I'll be alright. I take another deep breath and take another step. Nothing. So I go for another one, this ice cracking one again.

Ok.. maybe this was really stupid.

"Y/N, please be careful." He puts his hands in his hair. I start walking and I can hear the ice slowing cracking under my feet. I start panic a little since I did walk out pretty far. And the another very loud cracking sound makes me completely stop. "Don't move!" He yells and I look at him, breathing quickly. "Well what the hell am I supposed to do?!"

I let out a shaky breath and nod. "I got this." I mutter to myself and take a small step. Only to regret it right after. The next thing I feel is myself falling, and what feels like a thousand needles hitting my body. I try to swim up for air. "Jimin!" I yell as I get to the surface, but quickly sink back under.

I can't swim!

I'm struggling to reach the surface and also hold my breath. I'm almost there but so far at the same time. Suddenly, a hand grabs my arm and yanks me out. I'm brought out and I'm only my hand and knees. I start gasping for air and coughing. My body is shivering and it hurts. He stands me up and holds onto me

"Come on, let's get you back to the cabin."
