I woke up and rushed breakfast. I put on all my makeup and put on my soccer jersey and blue jeans and black vans. I put my hair into a braided ponytail and grabbed my duffel bag. My mom kissed my head and told me good luck and to be careful. My dad took me to the bus stop and I sat with my bff Alexis. She and I are on the same team together, and have been friends with her ever since preschool. We met through soccer and it's our favorite sport. "You ready for today's game?" She asked me. "Hell to the yea!" We laughed and went to school.

The day went by so slow that by lunch I was ready to go to sleep. At lunch I sat with my soccer buddies Amanda, Taylor, Katherine, and Jessica. We are the best in the team. We talked about the game and what the plan was. We did this every day at lunch since we got in the team. "The 9th graders can't pass the ball to save their lives." Taylor joked. "Yea but it's their first year and their in JV so its their getting used to point." Amanda explained. We all agreed. We were 10th graders and were in their spot last year. Soon lunch ended and the day went by. When they announced us to leave for the game I sprung up out of my seat and grabbed my homework and bolted out of the room. "FREEDOOOOOOOM!!!" I yelled.

We went and changed into our uniforms and went to practice outside. The team came and we always eyeballed them. We did this to show them that is was our turf and stuff. The game started and I was striker, as always. My mom and my dad with my little brother Austin were watching me. The people were vicious. Halfway through the game people had bloody noses and hurt themselves. One girl had to be rushed to the hospital because of a head injury. It was almost at the end of the game, and we were 4-4. I needed to make a goal. And I was determined to do so. When the ref blew the whistle I passed it to Chelsea, then we ran with it. Passes here and there, and someone kicked out. They did a throw in and one girl head butted it, then it came flying down at me. I had one chance, and the other team members were bolting at me. I had only one chance, with a couple seconds left. I ran up to the ball, jumped flipping to do a bicycle kick. I fell on the ground, and saw the ball go flying into the goalie. I had lost. Suddenly, this girl Tiana had went to go get it, which the goalie dropped. She kicked it to me and I kicked it into the goal. The siren went off, and we had won. People started cheering in the stands and the other team had reluctantly congratulated us. I ran to Alexis and the team and we all did our group cheer and a group hug. I grabbed my duffel bag afterwards and went to go to my parents. They had big smiles on their faces and Austin came waddling at me telling my name. "KENDALL!!!" He yelled in his 4 year old high pitched voice. He was so adorable. I picked him up twirling him around and he kissed my nose. His brown hair and blue eyes matched mine, and my parents hugged me and we went home and celebrated. My mom made a cake and we had a good time. It was a great day.
