I lay on my bed, soaked in my own tears, waiting for reality to show up to slap me in the face and tell me that I still have a life to live. I'm not even sure why I am crying because I don't even miss Peter, my ex-boyfriend. I miss having someone to talk to and I miss feeling loved. It hurts way more than I thought to be cheated on. Peter ripped a giant piece of my heart out and I need someone to fill it for me. But no one is there.

I hear a car outside my window and assume it's driving by. Living on a busy street presents many loud and obnoxious noises to have to deal with. My phone rings alerting me I have a text message. I pick up my phone and jump when I see the name of the person who texted: Anthony.

What could he possibly want? Did I forget a Game Bang? Did Ian get hurt? Did the Seahawks lose? Will he confess his forever known love for me? Gosh Mari, stop being so stupid, I say, mentally facepalming myself.

I unlock my brand new iPhone 6 and read Anthony's text. Look outside, it reads with a winky face. What could he have possibly done? How is he going to make my life miserable or absolutely amazing? That's just the way Anthony does things.

I get up from my extremely comfortable bed, curious of why Anthony was acting so mysterious. I look out my window giving me a clear view of the front of the apartment complex. I see his black SUV parked in the street, which confuses me because I don't see him anywhere. I assume he is going to ring in at the front where I would have to go downstairs to let him in.

However, as soon as I get to my door to go downstairs and allow him inside, I see his gorgeous face waiting at my door for me to come. His eyes, smiling and his nose crinkled at the sight of me. He was holding my favorite Starbucks drink, my two favorite horror movies, and a cute puppy plush toy. He knows me so well, I think to myself, smiling.
