//23rd July- At The Airport//
"This is so boring. Even private jets take time to arrive?" I whine.
"Well, Liv. For your information, Jeff clearly told us that the plane will arrive at 7 in the morning. You were the one who dragged me here at 6." He says. Well, it was true.
"I didn't want to get late!" I defend myself.
"Oh yeah? We're certainly very early." He claims. I pout, making him laugh. I laugh along.
I liked moments like these, where we laugh together without caring about the rest of the world. Well, our 'moment' was ruined by my phone. It's ringing?
I pull it out of my pocket to see Jeff calling. I picked up.
"Jeff! Good morning!" I speak into the phone. "Good morning, Olivia!" Jeff's voice rings through the other side.
"So, why did you call? Did we forget something?" I say.
"No. Actually, I forgot to tell you that both of your mums don't really know that you're gonna come, yeah? It's a surprise!" Jeff speaks enthusiastically. I smile. "Okay, Jeff! Got it! Thank you so much again." I say gratefully.
"No worries, Olivia. Bye!" I cut the call and put the phone back in my pocket.
"What did Jeff say, Liv?" Harry questions beside me.
"He said that mum and Anne don't know that we're coming. It'll be a surprise!" I said cheerfully. He smiles at me. "That'd be fun!"
It will be. We haven't seen our mothers since the last 7 months, I presume. Last time we saw them was when they both visited on tour. But moreover, I haven't seen Cameron since more than a year.
Cameron is my younger brother. He's not actually my brother, he's my cousin. Sadly, his mum died while giving birth, and his dad couldn't take in the loss of his wife. He eventually gave up on his life when Cameron was not even a year old. But, before ending himself, he showed up at our door, with Cameron in his arms and his eyes had such amount of grief and tiredness in them. He handed Cameron to mum and dad, and left. Although, my mum and dad happily took him and cared for him like he was their own. They treated him like he's their son, and now, he's 5, and smarter than ever! Probably much more smarter than me. He's a good little brother. He's sweet, funny and is loved by all, as he should. You just cannot not love him. He's too cute for that!
I smiled absentmindedly.
"What are you thinking about, Liv?" My trail of thoughts breaks as Harry speaks up. "About meeting Cameron. I haven't seen him in so long. I'm just really happy to go home." He grins at me, "Me too, Liv! I can't wait to see mum and Gem!"
We wait for another 35 minutes before our jet arrived.
"Let's go, Haz!" I practically yell, grabbing his arm, and pulling him with me. "Gosh, calm down, Liv. Neither the jet nor our families are going anywhere." He whines, as I drag him along with me.
I wave at Dale, our bodyguard, who was standing near the stairs, waiting for us. He smiles and waves back. "Welcome, Miss Brookes and Mr. Styles. This way please." Dale speaks in a formal voice. "How many times have I told you not to call Miss Brookes? It makes me feel old. Call me Olivia, or I'm getting you fired." I say keeping a straight face. He smiles again and I burst out laughing. "Okay, Olivia." He says. "Better! And, keep calling Harry 'Mr. Styles', he's old anyways." I laugh.
"Heeyyyy" Harry whines from behind. "Meanie" He mutters under his breath.
We enter and sit in our seats. "Please wear your seatbelts, we're taking off, sir." Melanie's voice speaks. Oomph. Melanie is our personal flight attendant/air hostess. I buckle my seatbelt, and so does Harry.
