(Narrator's POV)
Louis was enthralled by the scene in front of me. Stan and Olivia are having a fun time chatting. Louis never desired anything more than for his best friends to love and support him. He's on cloud nine now that he has it.
Despite this, Harry and Stan appear to be at odds. They seemed to be far away. Stan's glare at Harry causes him to turn uncomfortably on the sofa.
Harry abruptly stood up. "I'm going to cook dinner; what do you want?" He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly as he muttered.
"Spaghetti?" you might ask. Louis said it, looking around to see if someone else agreed.
Harry dashed into the kitchen, Olivia trailing behind him.
"I'll help you!"
She raised an eyebrow and slightly tilted her head to the side, looking at Louis, indicating that she was aware of the friction between Harry and Stan.
We had Harry and Olivia in the kitchen, cooking the pasta, and Louis, on the other hand, staring disappointedly at Stan, a few minutes later.
"Did you and Stan have a falling out, Haz?" Olivia was quiet when she enquired. Stan was never the one she knew properly, but she knew he wasn't a jerk.
"Liv, I have no idea what's going on. He was looking at me, as though I had just kissed Louis in his presence or something. He didn't stop staring at me." Harry explained.
When Olivia realised what was going on, she let out a chirp. "Oh! I know what's up!"
"What exactly are you talking about, Liv?" Harry inquired, puzzled.
"He's envious of you," Olivia said, and couldn't help but laugh.
Meanwhile...
"Babe?" Louis called, slight traces of disappointment lacing his voice.
"Yes, love?" Stan whispered lowly.
Stan was well aware that he had made a mistake. Stan was a generous man. He didn't want to construct the scenario he did. It was just that he couldn't protect himself from being envious. He was envious of Louis and Harry's closeness. He was still afraid of losing Louis to Harry. His mind and heart were overwhelmed by the 'What ifs?'.
"Why were you staring at Haz so intently? Is there something you're hiding from me?" Louis questioned calmly, not having to startle others.
Stan frowned. "I'm sorry, love. I didn't mean to do that. It's just that... You and Harry are so close, and I just fear that you'll leave me for Harry. I'm just being stupid and insecure. I'll apologise to Harry too. I'm so sorry." He sent Louis a sad glance.
"You think I'll leave you for Harry? Never, babe. True, I adore Harry; he's one of my closest friends, but I'll never love him as much as I love you. I've adored you since we were 15 years old. Why would I abandon you now that I've gained your trust? Don't be afraid to be yourself. I'll never leave you for someone else. You're my baby." Louis whispered softly, adoringly looking at Stan. "Unless..." He kept going.
Stan's face fell again.
"Unless you plan on stealing my chocolate chip cupcake. Then I'm probably breaking up with you." Louis said this while putting on a funny smile.
"I'm going to let you have mine too, sweetheart."
Louis reached in and sweetly pecked him on the lips.

//After Dinner//
Currently, Olivia got clothing from the wardrobe while Harry took a shower.
"You're done, Haz?" Olivia called, she had to take herself a shower.
"Nearly!" Harry responded.
Olivia entered after Harry exited. When a knock on the door disrupted Harry's preparations for bed, he was about to go to bed.
"Do you mind if I move in?" From the other side of the door, a voice called out.
"Yeah!"
Harry awkwardly shuffled when he saw Stan entering the room.
"Hi, St-" Harry was about to say something before he was interrupted once more.
"I'm sorry, Harry. I had no intention of doing what I did. I never wanted to make you feel uneasy or to make you distrust me. I was frightened because I knew you and Louis were so close, and I felt vulnerable. I'm really sorry, Harry." Stan was honest in his words.
Harry was aware of the situation. "Stan, don't be sorry. It's fine; it's human nature to be envious. It only goes to show how much you care about Louis because you're scared of losing him." With a gentle smile on his face, Harry stated.
Stan returned Harry's grin and embraced him goodnight.
"Didn't it go well?" Olivia stepped in unexpectedly. She stood at the bathroom door as Harry returned her gaze.
"It did. Eavesdropping is bad, Liv." Harry teased.
She gave a soft smile. "Haz, I told you. He's still a decent one, even though he's envious."
Harry nodded.
They finished the remainder and retired to their beds.
Meanwhile...
"Babe, I love you." With a grin on his lips, Louis shared his feelings.
Stan was still seated on the sofa, Louis perched on his lap and facing him. They had been watching Crazy, Stupid, Love at the time, but it had since been forgotten.
"Wanna show me?" Stan asked, leaning up to the side and brushing his lips against Louis' ear. Stan's hands were prominently placed around Louis' waist, squeezing him.
Louis' cheeks turned a lovely shade of deep red quite soon. "B-But Harry and Liv are upstairs," Louis stuttered. He wanted this as well.
"We'll be quiet, darling." Stan whispered seductively, his palms now wandering on Louis' clothed crotch. Louis was attacked by a pair of lips crashing on his own, before he could process anything Stan said.
Louis moaned, unable to contain his actions. He jerked forward, tangling his fingers into Stan's dirty blonde locks in the process.
"Lie down, baby."
