Carl Grimes x Reader Storyline~

Chapter 1: The Start

I walked out of my school building with a bright smile thankful to have gotten out of that hell hole. I continued to skip playfully towards the parking lot to await my mom to pick me up. Sixth grade is a lot harder than you think. You have science, biology, literature, history, and that one subject that everyone thinks is bullshit, math. As I was skipping I guess I bumped into someone, because the next thing I knew my butt was on cold concrete. "Watch it!" a girl screamed at me. 

I rolled my eyes and stood up, brushing myself off. "Gee, thanks for the help." I whined sarcastically. That girl came up to me and tried to intimidate me by giving a scowl and going on her tippy toes to try and act taller. "Wow, what a tall little girl we have here. I'm so scared." I laughed. "Who do you think you are (l/n)? Because I know, your a fake, suicidal, scene kid! So scram, if ya don't-" suddenly she got interuppted by this guy. "If she doesn't?" he asked, blocking her comeback. "She-she.. Uh.. AGH! Who gives a crap anyway?!" the girl yelled and stormed off into the distance. 

A hand reached out to me and I took it. He shook my hand as I examined his features, brown floppy hair, blue eyes, and dabbed freckles on pale skin, "Name's Carl, you?" he asked. It took a while to come back to reality. "(y/n). Thanks for the hand, I thought she'd never stop." I replied, looking a bit embarrassed. "It's fine, I'm used to people like that." he said and glanced east. He let go of my hand and smiled at me with his freckles up to his cheeks, "Well, see ya (y/n)!" he waved.

I watched as he got into his car and drove off. I sighed before feeling a tap to the shoulder, it was my best friend Quinn. "Hey." I greeted, "WASSUPP, anyways! You see that limping man over there?" she pointed to the road a few blocks down from here. "You mean that pale dude who's being video taped?" I asked, "Yeah! He has really good make up!" she complimented. I stared at the man, he looked like a pretty realistic zombie, pale decaying skin, bloody scars, torn clothes, and a pretty jacked up jaw. I kept admiring him before a video taper went close to him, the guy all of sudden got bitten by the dead guy which left him a hole of flesh. Everyone watched in horror how the bloody mess started. It was unbelievable.
