Your P.O.V Chapter 13

Once the night is dark enough I walk back to camp. Everyone is at dinner so I grab my bags from Hermes cabin and write out notes for my brothers.

Dear Blake,

I'm leaving camp. For how long I don't know. Until I return please take care of Hamish. He'll need you more than ever now. I have been claimed and I have been blessed. By who I won't share. Tell the Stoll brothers tomorrow who hung their things up.

Dear Hamish,

You are my sunshine and you know it. I'm leaving camp. Don't worry though I'll be fine. I have been claimed and blessed but I won't share who.

I write the letters and stick them to the Hermes and Apollo cabin doors. My siblings names are written in large crisp messy handwriting covered with tear stains.

I start humming to myself as I find Rachel. I need to speak with her.

"Hiya Rachel." I say. Her eyes immediately turn green with mist and she speaks in an ancient voice.

"Ten shall search for the weilder of Black Hearted Heaven,

The child of Zeus and Hecate crowned goddess of outcasts.

Her powers can save us from Kronos and Khione,

If she loses fear of that one person.

On her death bed she shall be,

Only her protector can set her free." Rachel collapses and I catch her.

I drag her to the big house and settle her down.

"Rachel. Please keep this a secret. I don't want to harm them. This is my birth prophecy."

"Beaten and bruised, bloodied and broken.

A prophecy never thrice spoken,

Three have heard, but the third

Will never make it past Black Hearted Heaven

Fear of oneself is stronger than ever

With that I grab my bags and turn invisible. I race into the attic of the big house and hide my junk there. Then I go to await my brothers reaction.

Blake was shocked but he accepted it. He knew I would someday split. Hamish, though, broke my heart. He ripped the letter off of the door and read it.

He than begun cursing and swearing in a mixture of English and Greek. Then he screams.

"Why!? You promised to be there for me!" He walks into his cabin and cries himself to sleep.

Once he's asleep I sing to him.

"You are my sunshine,

My only sunshine,

You make me happy

When skies are gray

You'll never know Hamish

How much I love you

Gods why'd you take

His sunshine away." I sing softly.

Hamish begins to have a nightmare.

"No...(Y/N)...stay...invisible...he'll...kill...you." Hamish mutters. I stroke his hair.

"Sleep peacefully,

Lay your mind to rest

I'm here with you

I never left

Silent tears

No one hears

I'm never leaving here." I kiss Hamish's head and leave the Apollo cabin. I look at the flag pole and blush causing me to manifest.

I lower the flag and grab my black and (f/c) skull patterned lace and silk undies and then my black and skull patterned lace bra. I then grab the Stoll's pink boxers. Travis's say 'Rachel' and Connor's say 'Clarisse'.

I rise the new flags and pray to the gods no one saw my undies and bra. Blushing mad I race off to the big house. Little did I know that a child of Hades saw everything.
