A/N: Hiii!! welcome to my story :) I'm new to watching MHA, but I've quickly grown attached to Aizawa, so I thought I'd write this 😌

i didn't see many quirkless au's on here, not to mention i didn't see any where he wasn't a teacher or hero of some sort, so i thought i'd change things up ;)

"And stay out!"

That's the last thing I heard before my dad shoved me out of the house, my bags thrown out afterwards. I did nothing wrong, he just has his own issues. He's never particularly been a good dad, especially after mom passed away. But I really can't blame him. Getting a stable job with a criminal record isn't the easiest, especially when arrested for domestic violence. As a 22 year old, living with him just made it harder, and he couldn't take it anymore.

I sigh, seeing a little cloud from my mouth. It was absolutely freezing, only about 40 degrees (farenheit, about 4 degrees celsius). I hated the cold, and I definitely wasn't dressed for it. My dad didn't even give me a chance to check the weather before sending me out. I grab my bags, dragging them behind me. I began to walk, not really having a specific destination. I just kept walking until I wouldn't be able to.

I managed to go through 2 towns before stopping, sitting down on a curb near a shopping mall. I laughed shakily, "Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get kidnapped by a hobo or something." Of course, I was being sarcastic. In reality, that's the last thing I wanted. I hugged myself, trying to keep warm. Thankfully it hadn't started snowing or raining, but it definitely looked like one of them would begin coming down from the sky above.

I hid my face in my knees, now pulling them into my chest. I shivered, only wearing a short sleeved shirt, ripped jeans, and sandals. I hated this, every second of it. Then it hit me. Where will I go? I don't have a bed to sleep in, I don't have a job to support me, and I have no friends to turn to. I'd turn to family, but I was always seen as the problem child to them. Not to mention I'm 22, they're excuse would be that I'm too old.

Suddenly, as I was hiding in my knees, a low voice spoke up, "Excuse me, are you okay?" I look up, seeing a tall rugged man. His eyes were black like his hair, he had dark circles around his eyes, and looked like he hadn't shaved in awhile. I felt scared, as I was vulnerable, "Please don't hurt me!" I hid again, trying to now ignore him. He laughed softly, which sent chills down my spine, "I'm not gonna hurt you."

He kneeled down, reaching over. He used his thumb and index finger to lift my chin, seeing his face was a foot away from mine. I got a closer look at him, seeing how his eyes were red, as if he hadn't got much sleep, "My name is Shouta Aizawa, and yours?" I spoke quietly, not making eye contact, "Y/N L/N.." Aizawa stood back up, "What happened to you? You seem so young to be on the street."

"Oh, my dad kicked me out.. Family stuff, y'know?" He nodded, understanding. He then asked, "Why don't you call a family member?" I quickly retorted, "Don't have any that are close enough."

"Friends?"

"No."

"Boyfriend?"

"No."

"Girlfriend?"

"No."

He stood there confused, "You really have no one to go to?" I shook my head, "Nope, I never really kept people around growing up." He sighed, scratching behind his neck, "Well.. I'll probably regret this but.. Wanna stay with me?" My eyes widened, "I-I couldn't do that! I don't even know you!"

"So you'd rather stay on the street?" He asked, knowing the answer already. I bit my lip, thinking if this is really a good idea. I really didn't have another choice.. "Fine, I'll go with you. But if you try anything funny, I'm leaving instantly to live on the street." He extended his hand out to help me up, and I accepted it. He lifted me up onto my feet, and I dusted myself off. "Trust me, I have no intention of doing anything weird to a little girl. Not that I have any weird intentions at all, but still."

I send him a glare, grabbing my bags. I swing one at him playfully, "I'm not a little girl, jerk. I'm 22." Aizawa grabbed the bag I swung at him, "I'll carry this for you, kid." I feel as if I ignite in flames, "Great, I'm moving in with a dickhead." He dropped my bag, "Watch what you say, shrimp." He began to walk away, "No I was kidding!" Aizawa chuckled, having me carry all my bags after all.
