Chapter 11

Rose had been tutoring Severus for a month now and it was finally December 1st. She was over the moon. Anyone who remotely knew her knew that she loved everything Christmas and Winter.  "Good afternoon Severus!" "Someone's happy." "It's December 1st who wouldn't be happy." They sat there studying and Rose read the night before Christmas. She suddenly let out a laugh. "What's so funny?" He had broken out into a small laugh finding her laugh contagious.  "This situation." "What?" "I hated you. And then Dumbledore decided to play peace maker and fix up Severus's grades. In other words kill two birds with one stone." "Wow I never thought about that." Just then Sirius walked in. "I'm guessing she's laughing at her life again." "Again? She's done this before?" "Ya a few times!" He had also started laughing. Sirius being Rose's boyfriend had ended up hanging out with Severus. Because Rose and Severus had became friends.  He found that Severus wasn't as bad as everyone made him out to be. "Come on Rose I'm here to pick you up!" "O-k-a-a-y." She said while trying to contain her laughter.
They both walked outside to the courtyard. "Hey Rose?" "Ya?" "I was wondering. You remember that ball that's coming up the last day of school before Christmas break?" She felt her heart rate speed up. She had been waiting for him to ask her to the ball. "Ya." "Well would you possibly want to go with me?" "Ummm well I don't know." His face dropped. "Oh okay." "Of course I'll go with you babe." "Really!" "Of course!" He then leaned in and kissed her.  At that moment it started to snow. Not a heavy icy snow, but a light beautiful snow. And at that moment she realized that she truly and utterly loved him with all her heart. And that she would never stop loving him.

The next morning the entire school was called to the great hall for an announcement.  "Hello everyone I would like to announce that even though it would be possible to go about our day we have decided to call of school do to the snow. We have decided because of the upcoming ball we will let you guys go to Hogsmead to buy or just look for what you need." Rose was thrilled. Her and Lily's eyes locked across the table. Sending a we will need to go together kind of look. So after the announcement was over they both ran over to each other to talk. They both yelled in unison "WE ARE GOING DRESS SHOPPING!" Sirius and James both met up to. James had some how got Lily to go with him. So in there mocking voices they yelled "WE ARE GOING DRESS ROBE SHOPPING!" Once Lily and Rose both have them upset gazes they set off for Hogsmead.

They stopped into multiple store until a few dresses caught Rose's eye. "What do you think about this one?"

"It's beautiful Lils!" "Thanks I think I'm going to get it. How about you have you found any?" "Ya I have a few ideas but I don't know." "Show them to me." Okay!"
