So by the way Christmas will be the Sunday of the week of the ball enjoy this chapter

It was the morning of December 18 Monday morning today was basically the first day of break. Because of the ball that night the classes were canceled.  So Rose and Lily were getting their makeup done.

Rose's hair:

Rose's makeup was a simple light eyeshadow with a light red lipstick.  Lily just straightened her hair and but some eyeshadow and lip gloss on.  "Rose come here!" "What is it James?" "Just come here." She ran down the steps with her hair and makeup done. "You look nice sis!" "Thanks! Now what do you need, because I need to finish getting ready." "I wanted to give you this.

"You know to where with your other one." "It's beautiful what's inside?" "Well open it!"

"It's us." "I remember this. You were having the hardest time walking through the water so i said that I would help and then I jumped on your back." "Yep!" "Thanks bro!" "Of course." You hug him and then run back up stairs. As soon as you sit on the bed Sirius calls for you.
So you walk down the steps again. "Yes,babe?" "I wanted to give you something." "A locket i love it babe. I can wear it with the necklace you got me the first Christmas here and my locket James got me. What's inside?" "Open it and see."

"It's us. This was our first date. You just said how you were mad at James for keeping me a secret for our first day at school. And then you said how great of a job I did with my comeback that day." "Ya!" "Thank you Baby I love you." "Of course Darling and I love you too more than you could ever imagine." They kissed then Rose walked up stairs to put her dress on and to relax a little bit. When she got in the room she heard a thud "Lily you good?" "Ya I just dropped my brush!" "Do you need any help." "Ya I'm coming out." "K." She walked out and Rose was extremely proud. She had help Lily with the entire outfit. From her hair to her heels. "You look great Lils!" "Thanks so do you. Those are pretty lockets." "Thanks Sirius got me one and James got me the other one." "There beautiful." She helped Lily with her hair a little more. Then after Lily was all set she worked a little more on her hair and makeup. "Hey I'm going to put my dress on then we can meet up with my brother and Sirius." "Sounds great!" She went to the bathroom and put on her dress. When she looked in the mirror she loved everything about it her hair,her dress,her makeup and her shoes.

As they walked down the steps Sirius saw his girlfriend and it was extremely obvious that he was completely in love. His eyes glimmered as he looked at her. And his face seemed to light up. A smile appeared on his face and it was bigger than anyone could imagine. He looked at her and never dropped his gaze from her. "Sirius please remember that she is my sister." James had whispered in Sirius's ear. He could obviously see how much he cared for his sister cause he immediately dropped the subject. "So babe how do I look?" "Like a beautiful princess." "Thanks you don't look to bad your self." He grabbed her hand and led her out of there common room. "So I was wondering." "Ya?" "I told Severus that we would stop by and that we could go to the ball with him and his date." "Sure anything for my princess." "Hmmmm anything okay then I want a puppy and a castle and a huge cake." "You know what I meant." "Ya I did." They walked the halls until they hit the Slytherin common room. "This is weird." "Ya it is we should have brought Your brother." "Uh I could protect us." "I know you could Princess." *knock knock knock* "Who is it. Oh it's some filthy little mudblood and a Black." Some random Slytherin girls said she had a look of disgust on her face. "Ummm I'm Rose Potter a pureblood and even if i was a muggle born I don't see what the problem would be." "Laya could you please be nice." "Sorry Hannah." The girl who they had assumed was Laya walked of and another girl walked in. "Hello I'm Hannah you must be Rose and Sirius. Severus and I will be ready in a few minutes." "Okay well we can just wait out here." Hannah disappeared behind the door again. "Rose Sirius hey so you guys have met Hannah?" "Ya we did and Severus if you could can we try to have people not call my girlfriend offensive terms." "What did they call her and who was it." "Listen Severus Babe we should all just enjoy tonight I'm fine." "Ya okay by the way Rose you look really nice tonight." "Thanks Severus." "So Hannah your a Slytherin?" "No I'm a Hufflepuff I have just known Laya for a long time. So what house are you in?" "I'm a Gryffindor so is Sirius and my Brother." "That's cool." "Ya I thought it was amazing that we were all put in the same house." "Ya you guys are really lucky." By the time their conversation was over they were already in the ball room. Dumbledore's started announcing names. With a loud grand voice he announced "SEVERUS SNAPE AND HANNAH SMITH." "Hannah Smith as in Tim Smith?" Rose had cracked up in laughter. "SIRIUS BLACK AND ROSE POTTER." They both slowly walked down the steps and walked towards Peter and his date, Remus and his date, Molly and Arthur, James and Lily,and Severus and Hannah.
