Louis doesn't show up again as expected.
But Harry doesn't give up...not yet.He gets up and heads towards the park.
This time he reaches early and hides behind a tree.
He hides behind a tree waiting for Cassie to arrive with Clifford.
He waits for 15 minutes but she doesn't arrive.
He gives up and heads towards his home.
•"Mom why are you crying?" Harry reaches her mom sitting on the dining table and rubs his hand on her back.
"I'm sorry Harry, you're just a kid, I need to pay attention to you but I'm so busy that I forget about you" Anne says wrapping Harry in her arms.
"Hey, hey, hey! Mom!" Harry cheers her up " you're the strongest person I've seen. Don't you ever say you aren't doing enough for me. I mean look at you you're doing so much. Please never let yourself down like that." He sits on Anne's lap wiping her tears.
"You smell like shit" Anne says playing with Harry's hair scrunching her nose to get back in the running nose water.
"I know" Harry chuckles "I'm going to take a shower, if you need help. I'm there. Sabby's here. Uncle will be back. But please don't give up"
"I won't give up" Anne says with a smile.
They both pass each other flying kisses and Harry runs to take a shower.
Shower thoughts are the most dangerous thing in the world.
You brain can manipulate you in so many weird ways when you're standing under a shower.
Harry thinks about everyone who's left him in his lifetime. His childhood friend Sam who left school in 6th grade. His dad who left him when he turned 14. His pet dog, Carlos who died a few years ago.
And now.
Two people are added on the list.
Louis who's hiding something from him probably planning to leave.
And.
Grandma.
But Harry doesn't give up.
He gets out of the shower and gives Louis a call.
The phone rings and rings.
But then the call ended and no one answered.
He calls again. No body picks up the call.
He calls again.
He calls Louis 16 times before he sighs and gets in his bed to fall asleep somehow.
