"Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones because regret is stronger than gratitude."

Grandma's funeral was held at 10 am in the morning.
Relatives were present in Manchester to show their regret. Even the ones who didn't bother to visit her in her last moments.
Harry has been crying for 3 days now. He doesn't know how to deal with this so he cries as much as he can.

"Gramma?" Harry opens the door of Mary's room. He knows the room is empty but he still calls out for her.
He notices that there are no medical equipments present in the room anymore. He walks towards the bed and sits at the edge of her empty bed.
He takes her pillow and hugs it tight.
He shuts down his eyes.Taking in the smell that reminds him of Gramma.
"I know how you told mum that you wanted to stay here because of memories you had with grandpa"
He hugs the pillow hard. And rests his head on the headboard.
"I'm sorry gramma" he tries to hold in the tears "I didn't say goodbye after everything thing you did for me."
"You were good to me" a tear streams down from his left eye. "You were always good to me"
"I still remember everything you told me gramma....you were starting to forget but I remember everything" Harry says "how you fell in love with grandpa and how you two used to dance alone in the room"
He takes a pause "I remember how you told me horror stories just to scare the shit out of me so that I would sleep with you"
"How you didn't eat your meal whenever i missed mine because of one of my tantrums, how you kissed every part of my cheek and left it wet whenever I visited you, how-" he takes deep breaths
"How you secretly changed the sheets when i peed on them and you knew mum would be angry", he chuckles "how you held me tight in your arms like i was the only one that mattered to you"
"I remember the knitted sweater you gave to me on my 12 th birthday but it was too short for me" he scrunches his nose "because you were starting to forget"
"But you were always good to me"
