Trey: Really?
Micheal: Yes, we've discussed this before.
Trey: I didn't think hybrids or nature based powers were considered a class. Meta breaker sounds pretty cool.
Micheal: To reiterate, any amalgram that has an element and meta power or has a power based on anything that is naturally occurring in nature, but is not an element, is a meta breaker. Examples: Fire and super strength or gravity.
Trey: I get it, I get it. I'm not dumb.
Micheal: Forgetful is the word. And you're covered on metas now, right?
Trey: Yeah, I know a lot...um. Yeah, that covers it.
Micheal: You're hopeless. You're the leader, learn your people.
Trey: In due time my good man.
Alma: Wait, I have a question. When you guys cover an area with your power, you called it an A.O.E., what's that for?
Trey: Oh? I figured that was self explanatory. Area of effect means area of effect. If my effect range is 10 miles, then I can attack anything within that range. You could be behind a building 4 miles away and I can ignite it.
Alma: Oh, it was simpler than I thought. But why do you use it as a measurement of power if you just fight up close anyway?
Micheal: It makes them aware that they cannot run away or hide very well. Of course, some are harder to determine, like mine. But I guess to put simply it can be generally intimidating.

(Raine walks up to the three.)

Raine: Are we ready to go yet?
Alma: I know I am.
Trey: Hahaha no. No you are not.
Alma: Why can't I go?
Raine: Does that need to be explained?
Micheal: You have no powers, Alma. You can't go.
Alma: Who cares!? I want to go!
Nuvia: You'll just get in the way.
Alma: Don't walk up out of nowhere and insult me!
Raine: Alma, stop. You cannot possibly go.
Alma: That's not fair! I am as a part of this as any of you!
Trey: No you're not.
Alma: What!? I-!
Trey: You are a human.
Alma: But-!
Trey: That's enough! You don't have powers, you can't fight, you're a liability.

(Alma clenches her fists and grits her teeth out of anger as tears start to pour out her eyes.)

Alma: Why are you always treating me like this, Trey...Do you hate me like you do other normal humans?
Raine: Alma, you know that's-.
Alma: I want to hear his answer!
Trey: ...I don't hate you, but no matter what, there is still a wall between us. I've appreciated your sympathy...but you can never truly understand. You're just human. You didn't go through what any of us has. Granted you've had your own problems, but-.
Alma: But what!? You're right, I am just a normal human! There's only so much I can do. That's why I have to do everything I can, to make up for what I don't understand!
Trey: It's still a no, Alma. This isn't any old battlefield like before, this is a battle of nature and supernatural. It's on a much larger scale and no one is sidelined to protect you.
Raine: If you understand anything, understand we are trying to keep you safe.
Alma: Safe, eh?

(An idea sparks in her head.)

Alma: You're taking every amalgram with you, right?
Trey: Yeah?
Alma: Leaving just little ol' me here? Even if the non combatants stayed, the humans could come back to take over. Possibly killing me as well.
Trey: ...Tch. I can't deprive any amalgram's feelings by leaving some to guard you and this place. Darn it...
Alma: You have to take me, for my safety.
Trey: Ugh, fine. Clever little cooper. But we can't waste time protecting you.
Alma: It's fine, because I can handle myself.
Micheal: Hahaha, well just in case, let me do something.

(Micheal walks over to her and starts waving his hands as if directing something. A pin forms in her hand.)

Trey: Well, Raine?
Raine: I don't like it, but it seems she has us in a vice.
Alma: Don't worry, Raine. I have been hearing a voice in my head for quite some time. She's nice. It says I will be fine.
Raine: A voice? Like what?
Nuvia: Your sister has gone bonkers, Raine.
Raine: Shut it.
Alma: Maybe it's just my intuition.
Nuvia: *Condescending* Riiiiiight, intuition. *Makes a circular motion with her finger by her ear*
Raine: Stop it, Brago!
Nuvia: Uh oh, last names are being used.
Trey: I think it's time to go.
