Collaborator Arc 2: Conquering Nature

Episode 4: Chop Suey

(Avacyn screams in anger as she races forward and slashes at Luke. He forms a spear from his own blood and blocks her attack.)

Luke: Won't join us, eh? That's ok.

(He spins his spear violently which knocks Avacyn back. Then with the shaft of the spear, he quickly slams her stomach, then follows up with a thrust of the blade into her shoulder. She lets out a pained groan.)

Trey: Alright, that's enough. It's time we-!

Avacyn: Don't you dare! You leave him to me!

Raine: Tch, now isn't a time to show off for Trey!

Avacyn: I'm not!

Trey: We aren't going to sit back when it can be 3 on 1, Avacyn!

Avacyn: Nah, *smirks* he's just a small fry. You can go on ahead. Trust me.

Luke: *Irritated* Small fry?

Raine: Let's just go, Trey. She seems pretty confident.

Trey: I...I guess.

(As he starts to turn away. Luke lunges forward and with a swift strike, breaks Avacyn's guard.)

Avacyn: W-Wait a minute…

(She is then run through with the spear. She begins to cough up blood and grits her teeth. Trey and Raine quickly turn back around.)

Trey: *Frustrated* I told you!

Avacyn: Don't write me off yet! No way am I done!!

(Her arm glows a golden color. And with a heavy strike, she chops the spear in half. As it dissolves back into blood, she takes her blade and cuts Luke's jugular.)

Luke: Tsk tsk, you know that wont work. Someone like me, with this power? Bleeding out? You could pierce my heart and I would survive.

Avacyn: Don't let your guard down yet! Holy lance!

(She forms a pole-arm of light in her right hand, and pierces him upwards through the ribs and right the left side of his neck.)

Luke: Can't deny, nice hit. *Gurgles*

Avacyn: It's time for your worthless soul to repent.

(She then grabs him by his collar, and despite her injuries, she tosses him around like a ragdoll. Her body glows brighter with each toss. She tosses and slams him into the ground and multiple trees. Afterwards she pulls him close and lets loose a series of punches, kicks, and slashes with her sword. Then pushes him to the ground. She turns to the others.)

Avacyn: See? I told you. Small fry.

Trey: Tch, yeah, small fry for sure.

Raine: Enough gloating, you need to be-.

(A spear runs through Avacyn's chest. She gasps in pain.)

Luke: You've gotten stronger, but also a bit cocky. Look at you, ending a fight that wasn't even finished.

(The spear disperses and recollects to form a mace. He then strikes the back of her head, uses mach one to get in front of her, and turns the mace back into a spear. Trey and Raine try to attack, but he fends them off with two large blood shields.)

Luke: Whether they accept you or not, you're a traitor on both sides.

(He thrusts the spear into her gut which causes her to bend forward. He pulls the blade out and strikes upward with the shaft hitting her chin. The attack causes her head to kick back and he slashes her chest. She stumbles onto the ground. Dazed and confused, she can barely make out Trey and Raine trying to attack Luke once again. Trey throws a kick wrapped in flame. Though blocked by the shield of blood, the blood turns to ash. Raine tries to deliver a series of palm strikes which is met by another shield. But due to her applying water to each strike, she manages to erode much of the blood away and she manages to land a strike that pushes him away from Avacyn. Trey then jumps above him and performs a breath attack that covers Luke in a heavy black flame which burns away his blood armor.)
