Charli's Pov:
I was in my room in our new house, finishing up getting ready for dinner with my parents, Chase, Dixie, and Noah.

We hadn't actually talked about if we were going to tell our parents that we were in relationships with the guys or if we were just gonna let them figure it out.

I guess I'll do whatever Dixie does. I thought to myself.

I applied one last swipe of mascara as I heard a knock at the front door.

"Hey, welcome Chase!" I heard my dad say.

I hopped up out of my chair and sprinted down the stairs to hug Chase where he stood by the door.

I hadn't seen him in two days, because I'd been so busy helping Dixie move, unpacking my stuff in my room, and helping my parents unpack the whole house. We hadn't even FaceTimed, or texted. I just got so caught up.

Even though it'd been a short time, I'd missed him immensely.

He looked down at me when we pulled away from the hug.

ugh I wanted nothing more than to kiss him.

Maybe we could get a moment alone. After all, Noah and Dixie weren't here yet.

"Let me show you how I set up my room!"
I said to Chase, hoping my parents would buy the excuse.

Chase agreed to come see my room and followed me up the stairs. My dad went back to the kitchen to help Mom finish cooking dinner.

We went into my room and closed the door, and Chase play-tackled me onto the bed.

I smiled up at the handsome dark haired boy who was on top of me.

He leaned down and began to kiss me... the kind of kiss that made me want to do more than just kiss.

"I missed you." He said in between kisses.

"I missed you too, Chasey" I smiled at him.

We heard the doorbell ring and Chase rolled off of me.

I frowned playfully and we got up to go greet Dixie and Noah.

Downstairs the table was set and we all sat down to eat, mom made spaghetti.

"So, Chase," began my mom as we started eating.

I didn't need to be, but I was nervous.

"How are your parents!? What have they been up to?"

I let out a quiet sigh of relief.

"They're good! They've just been staying at home, you know. I haven't seen them for a while, but I talk to my mom a couple times a week."

My parents continued to make small talk with Chase and Noah, until they stopped asking questions and the room was silent for a moment.

"Oh, by the way! Noah and I are... dating!" Dixie said, smiling uncontrollably.

""Awww" I smiled at them across the table.

"We figured! It was kinda obvious" My dad said.

"Marc!" My mom rolled her eyes. "We're very happy for you two." My mom said warmly.

I didn't know if I was supposed to speak up about Chase and I now. I didn't feel ready, and I didn't know how to say it.

I looked over at Chase, who was sitting next to me.

He noticed my gaze and turned to look at me, grabbing my hand and holding it under the table on my lap.

Suddenly, I found the words. I was ready to tell my parents.

"Mom, dad," I asked for their attention. They both looked at me.

"Chase and I have been spending some time together recently." I started my explanation. "And, as you all know, he's literally my best friend."

My mom nodded, my dad just kept looking at me intently, as if he didn't know where I was going with this.

I glanced at chase once again, who gave me a supportive nod and squeezed my hand, and I continued.

"Basically, we're taking things slow, but we're on track to getting back together... well, we're technically back together, just not official again quite yet."

"Yup, saw this one coming too." Said dad.

"Marc!" My mom sighed with a face palm.

We all laughed, and it broke the tension.

"In all seriousness, I'm happy for you girls." Dad said. "You are with two very respectful, responsible young men."

"Thanks dad." replied Dixie.

"I appreciate it Mr. D'amelio." Said Noah.

"And so do I," Chase added. "I feel extremely lucky to be a part of this family."

The rest of dinner went well, and I was so relieved to have a weight lifted off of my shoulders.

We played a board game after dinner and then Chase, Dixie and Noah had to go home.

It kinda killed me that I couldn't spend the night with Chase anymore... but maybe I could the night of the party- which was tomorrow!

I helped my mom clean up the dining room and kitchen, and then I went up to my room.

I looked at my phone to see that chase had called me while I was cleaning.

I clicked on the notification and called back.

"Hey baby!" Chase greeted me. I could see in the background of the FaceTime that he was back at the hype house.

"Hey," I grinned.

"I miss you already."

"I know. I miss you too. I get to see you again tomorrow though!"

"Thank goodness"

"Well, the faster I get to sleep, the faster I get to see you again. I'm gonna get ready for bed." I told him.

"Okay," he said. "Goodnight beautiful!"

"Goodnight Chasey."

We hung up the call and I opened tik tok. On my following, I saw that Chase and Noah had posted a dancing video together- here in my house. I looked at the comments.

Look, it's the D'amelio men
Brothers in law!

The comments shouldn't have irritated me, but they did. I wished people would mind their own business.

I think deep down I was just afraid that if social media became a factor in Chase and my relationship again, we had a higher chance of not working out.

Never again did I want to feel the way I did when Chase and I broke up because of the Nessa situation.

But it didn't have to be that way this time, and I was determined not to let it be. Chase was mine. I was his. Endgame.
