Scars [Todoroki x OC]

I am currently in a small room filled with monitors that are showing various angles of the battles happening in a building where the hero vs. villain fights are being held. A few of my classmates are around me, occasionally commenting on things that happen on the screen. All-Might stands at the center of our group with a microphone in hand, just in case he needs to talk to the teams out in the field. Kirishima, my hero partner for this exercise, is standing to my right. Based on our few interactions I can already tell that he's one of the nicest people I've ever met, despite his somewhat off-putting appearance. His shark-like teeth smile as his friend Kaminari makes his way to the room where the villains are. Kaminari and Tsu are working together to try to defeat our classmates. Of course, I don't want to be biased against the others but I know that I'm secretly rooting for Tsu's team, and I bet Kirishima is too.

Kaminari and Tsu make quick work of the villains which causes Kirishima and I to cheer for them. We turn to each other and high-five, happy that our two friends were able to win.

"We should probably go don't you think?" I ask him, "Our match is up next!"

"You're right Mitski! Let's go beat up some villains!" He says while holding up a fist.

"Yeah, I can't wait to pummel Mineta into the ground," I respond with a dark expression on my face. He chuckles at me and we make our way out of the room. After getting our headsets so we can stay in contact with each other Kirishima asks me a question, "So Mitski, could you fill me in on your quirk really quickly?"

I nod before answering, "My quirk is called Time Manipulation. It's a combination of sonic speed and the ability to make things move in slow motion."

"That's so manly!" Kirishima exclaims, "Mine isn't anything too flashy, but I can make my entire body harden," he demonstrates by holding out his arm before it turns into a jagged, and somewhat rock-like version of itself.

"Kirishima, are you kidding me? Your quirk is so cool! You're unbreakable!" I rave while grabbing his arm to inspect it more in-depth. He laughs in gratitude, "Thanks Mitski, it means a lot to hear one of the strongest in our class say that."

I blush, slightly embarrassed by his honest compliment before giving him a smile.

We find ourselves outside the building where the villains are located. I can hear All-Might giving us the green light before we make our way inside. Purple balls line the floor and walls, but they're not very organized so we easily make our way through. By the time we reach the 4th floor we find Mineta and Sato.

"We've got you now! Surrender or face our fury!" I say while pointing my finger at the two of them. I hear Kirishima attempt to stifle a laugh from beside me. Neither Mineta nor Sato react to my demand, they glance at one another in silence. I barely had time to blink before Sato rushed at Kirishima. Activating my quirk I push Kirishima out of his way before Sato punches me in the stomach making me fly back into the wall behind me. I blink and time returns to normal. For a moment Sato looks surprised that he ended up hitting me instead of Kirishima but he doesn't have much time to think before Kirishima engages him in some pretty intense hand-to-hand combat.
