After narrowly escaping the shipwreck zone, my classmates and I swim up to the edge of the water. We nervously watch as Mr. Aizawa fights against the remaining villains, but I can tell that he's getting tired. His moves are slower than before, and he looks to be running out of stamina. To think that he's been putting up a strong fight this whole time. Pro heroes are on a whole other level.

Just as Mr. Aizawa takes down a villain, a man with grey hair rushes at him. The new villain's appearance startles me, his whole body is covered with pale hands, including one hand covering his face.

"First it was 23 seconds. Then it was 24 seconds." The man says while avoiding Mr. Aizawa's attacks, "Then 20. Then 17." He's cut off as Mr. Aizawa nails the man in the stomach with the corner of his elbow. Tsu and Midoriya let out small gasps from beside me at our teacher's brave actions, but all of our smiles quickly fade as we watch the scene before us.

The grey-haired man is holding Mr. Aizawa by his elbow, trapping him, "It was hard to see with you jumping around. But I've found your tell, it's your hair. When it drops it means you've stopped using your quirk." As soon as the words leave his mouth the fabric around Mr. Aizawa's elbow starts to disappear. Soon his skin beneath the villain's hand starts to break away. My eyes widen in fear. That villain is destroying Mr. Aizawa's elbow with a single touch. All that's left is the muscle now a bright red in contrast with the rest of his body.

"Don't push yourself too hard now. You might just break apart." The raspy voice of the villain reaches my ears. Mr. Aizawa is quick to react and sends a strong kick at the villain freeing himself. Suddenly he's surrounded by more weak villains and starts to fight once again. Because of that one villain's quirk, he's unable to use one of his arms. He must be in so much pain right now. My throat begins to tighten, I can feel my legs shake. I have to do something. I have to save him!

"There's one thing you got wrong hero. I'm not the final boss." The grey-haired villain's words echo in my head. And before any of us have a moment to react a large bird-like man with razor-sharp teeth makes his way behind Mr. Aizawa. Then there's red. So much red. Mr. Aizawa's blood has stained the pavement below his body. The sight of his broken body on the ground brings me back to the moment when my own body was as broken and bloody as his. I can't let someone die in front of me again. Not like this.

My legs move before my mind can catch up to what is happening. My feet make contact with the ground. I fly forward with so much force a dent is left in the concrete, a deafening crack is heard. The wind pushes my blue hair behind me, my golden eye gloves with ferocity.  I can see the grey-haired villain slowly turn his head to determine the source of the noise, but I'm moving so fast my body rushes past him in a blur. He stumbles back from the force of the wind around me as I run past him. I don't have time to hear the screams of fear from my classmates at the dangerous action I just took.

My eyes have tunnel vision as I near the giant bird-man. He's holding Mr. Aizawa's arm, it's twisting beneath his strong grip. I can see the villain slowly letting go of his arm, and I use this as an opportunity to push Mr. Aizawa out of harm's way. But I made a miscalculation. This villain's reflexes were faster than anyone's I had ever encountered. Just as I moved Mr. Aizawa out of the way, I feel a giant hand wrap around my ankle. My eyes widen in fear. I've been caught. Time returns to normal as I blink my eyes, trying to clear the tears that have begun to cloud my vision.  The dark villain lifts me up off of the ground by my ankle, his grip tightening until I hear a crack. I let out a small anguished cry. Shit. Shit. Shit. That isn't a good sound. Searing pain runs through my leg. I begin to hyperventilate as the grey-haired man saunters over to us.

"This one of your students Eraserhead?" His voice sends tingles down my spine, "They really are something else aren't they?" Mr. Aizawa isn't able to respond. His hooded eyes glance up and meet mine. I know exactly what he's thinking at this moment, what the fuck are you doing?! Believe me, Mr. Aizawa, if I had any clue I'd let you know.  The villain makes his way towards me. Our faces are parallel, though my view is upside down. I'm harshly reminded of the larger villain's hold on my leg as another sharp pain courses through my body. I grit my teeth with a grimace.
