Presence

So there was a time skipppp

basically the last chapter Naruto was just a couple months older than 4. It's been one and a half years since Kakashi asking to train Naruto. okay, enjoy :>

Kakashi POV

Naruto has made exceptionally good progress since the beginning of our training. He can now do 3 shadow clones, which is impressive considering a year ago he couldn't do any sort of jutsu. The nine tails is playing a part in all of this. It seems one we began training and he used his chakra successfully, the Kyubi became active and we have had some..accidents.

Flashback

Naruto was meditating. I make him do this every once in a while to be at peace with his mind, and if the kyubi were to interact with him, he would be calm and clear his mind. He must've encountered the Kyubi during his meditation, because he developed something we now call the Nine-Tails Cloak. The whisker marks on his cheeks became thicker and sharper, and his eyes developed a black thick outline. This dark chakra-like aura surrounded him as he just kept meditating, he face scrunching up every once in a while, but once he opened his eyes, he went on a rampage. The only way I could stop him without seriously damaging him was to place a genjutsu to make him fall out of reality, just until he could calm down.

It was scary for the both of us

End Flashback

I was prepared for something like this happening, or rather, I was expecting it, but I didn't think it would happen this soon, when he was this young. Ever since that day, About once a week I have Inoichi enter Naruto's mind to describe what is happening with the Kyubi. Think about it, it must be pretty hard for a 5 and a half year old to describe a evil demon sealed inside of himself.

Naruto is aware of the Kyubi's presence and it was sealed inside of him. He asked me one night, and It was hard to lie to him any longer.

Flashback

I was reading Make-Out Paradise, my favorite book series of all time. I don't have enough fingers on my hands to count how many times i've re-read these books. I suddenly hear a very tiny knock at the door along with the door creaking open just slightly enough for a little blonde boys head to poke out. I rip my head out of my book, giving a questioning look to Naruto, following with "What do you need, Naruto?". Naruto has a somewhat shy, worried, but curious expression snapped onto his face. He waltzes into my room, and stand right before me, hands behind his back.

"Um..Kakazi..I have a question.." Naruto started picking up on my real name, with having Pakkun and Tenzo around, he noticed they referred me as my real name, so Naruto started doing it, though sometimes he was off with the pronunciation. "Kakashi. It's Kaka-shi. What's your question?"

"Why..do I always feel not alone..in a bad way? Like someone is always watching me? And echoing in my head?" I looked back at my book then answered. "Haven't I told you alread—"

"I don't want that answer." Naruto Interupted. "Don't lie. I know it's not from nightmares. stuff happens when i'm awake. And everything feels too real." I sigh and close my book, adjusting myself so i'm sitting straight in my bed. "Okay. I'll tell you the truth." I said, croaking at the last of my words. Naruto excitedly sat down crisscross style and looked up at me. I sighed and began. "When you were very little, in fact, the same day you were born, a beast attacked our village. Specifically, the Nine-Tails. To save the village from further destruction, The 4th Hokage sealed it into you."

"Oh.." was all Naruto would muster out of himself as he held his stomach, looking down at the 8 sign seal symbol which he wondered about for so long. All he could do is clutch it and think.

ok so this chapter was just some flashbacks of things that happened during the time skip in this story. hope u enjoy. My next publish will be a chapter for 'Eye on you' (which btw tell me if you are into that story in the comments)
