Anthony pushed me. "Why are you smiling? He had a tragic accident and your smiling!?" Anthony asked shouting so loud that our adviser heard it from the faculty which is 3 rooms away from ours.

"I will have the luckiest day of my life! Tomorrow!" I said so happily as I ran and went to the Computer lab to do some important RESEARCH.

I stopped in a vacant computer and asked if I could use the computer for something important.I quickly typed: What do girls like? That clearly sounded as stupid as it looks. I was about to shut it down. But I was really that desperate.

The loading took so long I had to wait for minutes. When the page finally showed up the bell RANG. "I shouldn't be late again or Mrs. Dianne would get mad at me". I closed the page and ran towards my classroom.

It was a miracle not being late. Not that I always am. I sat down on my desk and drank my bottled water from my bag and tried to feel relaxed. I did some doodling while Mrs. Dianne told us what we were gonna do tomorrow on our experimentation. Obviously I didn't listen but I'm sure I'll figure it out...soon.

The bell rang and I walked towards Summer's desk and told her:"I need your help."

Summer asked, "What is it Conner?"

I replied in a nervous tone pulling her arm, "Uhmm...let's go to the library."

"Why?" she asked wondering why I want to go to the library so badly.

I bit the inside of my cheek to keep a straight face and gave a big sigh. But she still didn't get it.

"CDPT" I said, which stands for Connor Davis Private Talk.

"Oh...Okay sure". she replied as I finally pulled her sturdy arm and walked to the library.

Summer asked folding her arms, "So what is it you want to talk about?"

I let out another big sigh and tried to keep calm. " So... I was just wondering...What do girls like?"

Summer was irritated when she found out what I was gonna ask her. " Seriously!? You dragged me here to have a 'CDPT' and you ask me some dumb question?"

I begged her to tell me tips. "Please Summer, help me out."

Summer replied in annoyance, "Fine, but if I tell you could you stop grabbing my arm? Anyway, it  actually depends if whatever the girl wants, like how  I badly want a baseball bat that has my name printed on it. But if you want to know what Amelia wants, that would be simple: BE YOURSELF."

Surprisingly, she knew why I wanted her help. " Hold on, how did you know I was gonna ask you about what to give Amelia?"

"Dude, Just because I'm a sporty girl doesn't mean I'm stupid okay? It's obviously because tomorrow is Valentines Day and that's the only reason why I'm getting the chills. So many boys...tomorrow..." she replied as if she was freezing in the coldest part of winter.

Summer getting the chills of winter, Ironic right?

" So I just gotta be myself right? What if she doesn't even have any space in her heart for me? What if she chooses someone else?"

"Don't worry, I'll guide you along the way okay?"

"Okay."

We headed back to the classroom and met up with the others. "Are you excited for tomorrow Connor!" Justin said so happily .

"Yeah, Valentines Day..." I replied in a serious and exhausted tone.

"Uhmm..NO. About the movies which we have planned 2 weeks ago! Hello!"

Come to think about it, we did plan that we would go to the movies. I couldn't just leave him. So I said: "Yeah I'll be there meet me at 8:00 in the evening at that cool new restaurant okay?" Dammit, I forgot all about the plan. Well at least I'll be hanging out with Amelia in the morning..I guess.

They went outside and asked me if I would like to come. But this thing might be a problem so I gotta find a solution to this before anything else happens. I just need to get some time alone to figure this out. So I made an excuse to get the time I need. "I still need to finish my homework!"

"Suit yourself!" Justin said then left with the others.

I felt so nervous if something bad might happen tomorrow. I smacked my face on my desk. "Hey Connor." Every time I smack my face in this table people start appearing without me knowing.

I sat straight and said, "Hi.. Hi.. Hey Amelia."

"Are you okay? You look weird today." I laughed.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm always weird." She laughed.

"C'mon Connor, I practically know you. We've been singing partners for years now. You definitely don't look fine to me"

"Really. I'm fine." I felt adrenaline pumping through me.

"Do you have any plans tonight? How about we have dinner tomorrow after school at the new restaurant that just opened. What was it called again?"

"Oh! You mean Hímálá! A cousin of mine told me that the food there tastes great. He said something about a miracle or something."

"Cool! So, 8 o 'clock then? You know, just to lighten you up? But if you don't, it's okay-

"-Sure! Sure! I would love to but it would be my treat. But, don't you have other plans with..."

Hímálá? 8 o 'clock? What is this? destiny has something for me? To me it was awkward for a girl to ask me out so I just returned the favor.

"So are we good then? And please, you don't have to pick me up." She insisted.

"Alright then." She smiled. She walked away but I stopped her, grabbing her hand. "Oh, and Amelia...

...Thanks."

Her smile seemed to have faded away. She continued walking away together with Heather and a bunch of the other girls.

That gave me a miracle!
