Here it is, the final chapter of Dream-like!
It took me time to write this, to perfect it.
Don't forget to like, comment, and share.
It's the last of Dream-like does not mean it's the last of me 😹... I have good news for everyone
This chapter is dedicated to you
UnedittedThe final year was everything I wanted it to be, perfect CGPA, perfect pals, bar council president of my campus.
I got to wear short blue skirts with no one stopping to fine me. I even made sure I wore black plain trousers to school which always pissed Dami.''Now everyone will truly confirm that you don't have ass'' he would say shaking his head causing Jide and Jamal to laugh.
''How does that even affect you?'' I would always ask and he would hit my head mumbling
"' people will now see me as the guy follow an ass-less girl'' which in turn made me laugh because I know he wasn't following me.
He couldn't, we both had different things we were following. He had almost all the girls on the campus drooling and I had watched him date none of them because he was looking for the perfect kind of girl, while I was still in love with Cheta.
It's been four years and a few months since I fell for the young priest and one would think that 20years old me would have outgrown the crush but that wasn't the case.
I only loved him more. Keeping myself only for him, in my 300level I had turned down Joshua because it felt like a sin. I belonged to the priest so it would be disrespectful settling or going for him. I had rejected a lot of the guys because my heart was meant and programmed for just one person.I watched as the lecturer left the class carrying his books, it was the last class before the Christmas break and once again I had worn my usual trousers I turned to strain my neck to see if my friends had met up with the last class and I only saw Dami sitting as if he had been rejected, the boys were nowhere to be seen. I watched as he ignored the guys who were extending their hands for a shake.
''what's doing that one?'' I asked packing my books and heading his way, I hugged the few people who were close to me goodbye while I shook the rest as I made my way to the back where he sat.
"what's wrong?'' I ask dropping my bag sitting down near him
''nothing'' he gave me the fakest smile in the world
''I have known you long enough to know when you are lying'' I tell him which made him laugh ''did you guys quarrel again?' I asked surveying, if I would see the guys anywhere.
"'no we did not, they didn't come to school today'' he said shifting and taking a proper look at me'
''how many times have I told you to stop wearing this?'' he asked making me laugh as his face changed. ''it makes you look ass-less'' he said smiling.
''How is that your concern?'' I asked smirking at him.
'' people will think I'm following a girl without ass'' he answers causing me to laugh.
''well good thing we both know you are not following me'' I answer back rolling my eyes at him
''who said? 'his question throws me off balance and I turn to look at him
''who said I'm not following you?"' he asks as if I did not understand him the second time.
''well technically we've been together almost every day in school since 100level 2nd semester so I think yes you've been following me'' I reply laughing
'' Sorry, I've been embarrassing you ooh'' I apologize holding myself from laughing as he still had his serious face.
