Alyssa's POV

"Ma'am, Sir, we have landed at the airport" the redhead hostess whom I found out to be Julia said smiling at me.

"Thanks Julia" I said smiling back. She turned around and called two attendants to get our luggage

"Get ready for the pictures" I said standing up. Leo also stood up, took my hand in his and led us outside

As our footwear touched the ground, the clicks of camera deafened me, the flashlights blinded me but of course, we have to smile, walk and act all lovey dovey to make it seem real

And of course, the questions... "Is it true you have been dating each other for the past 3 years? A reporter asked

"Yes" we chorused

"Do you plan on having children immediately?

"We still argue about that a lot because my husband here wants us to start a family as soon as possible but I want to enjoy my husband and my married life for a year or two before the kids come in" I said before planting a peck on Leo's cheek

"Does that mean you don't like kids?

"Oh! Don't get my wife wrong. She loves kids and infact for our first project together we are starting a foundation for kids" Leo said smiling at me

I'm sure you're thinking, what foundation? Well, the foundation is a lie that we have to turn to reality now. Lovely!

"How about...

The reporter was cut by someone behind us

"I think that's enough for today. They are just returning from their honeymoon, let them rest and by the way this isn't a press conference"

"Mother! Good to see you again" Leo said smiling at his mom

"Jordan my dear, how are you?" She asked him, hugging him

"Alyssa" she said facing me "How was your honeymoon, darling? She asked hugging me too.

"It was lovely. Thank you" I said smiling

"Come on, the car's waiting" she said leading us to her Benz.

She said she already picked out our house, a villa. And that's where we're headed

I must admit, the house is very beautiful, I love the artistry. It has a very big and beautiful kitchen, two actually.

Seven rooms with bathrooms inside, the colours were different and beautiful.

We went to the master bedroom, it was breathtaking, it has four doors, a door leading to a walk in closet and another leading to another walk-in closet, and another leading to the bathroom and the last leading to a glam room

So, I had called my mother to tell my mother-in-law that I needed a glam room because I didn't want my makeup products around the room

"So, what do you think? She asked

"Well, I personally love this room but I can't judge till I get to see the whole house" I said

"Alright then, to the library we shall go" she said

We got to the library, it was really huge and filled to the brim with books, there were books on every single genre, romance, thriller, history, fiction, you name it. There was also a shelf with the name "Alyssa" it contained my  books from my library at home and even the books I wrote

There was another shelf with the name "Jordan" that contained some business and fanfiction books. So he reads fanfic, uh?

She also showed us the garden, the home office which was two in one by the way and the dance room for me. The dance room was furnished with musical instruments and a wide, wall length mirror. She also showed us the rest of the house.

"What do you think?" She asked cheerfully

"I like it, it's okay" Leo said

"I love it, it's beautiful. Thank you" I said

" Oh! You're welcome" she replied smiling
"I guess it's time for me to leave now" she said walking out but then she suddenly stopped

"There is a welcome party for you guys this night by 7pm at my place. Don't be late. And you are not to resume work till Tuesday" she said finally leaving
