Chapter 13 (pregame)

KOKICHI POV

After a few months it finally came to the first day of school of another year. I wasn't ready for school honestly... I haven't even told Kaito there are other people who bullied me besides him...

We were on our way to the school, "hey, you're still going to be my roommate." He told me while we were walking, i nodded.... He smirked at me and got closer to my ear "so that we can freely do things together." He teased, i blushed at his words and looked away, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, we continued to walk

"H- hey! Guys!" As we were walking we heard a voice behind us we looked to see who it was. It was Kiibo "U- um... Do you... Mind if i walk with you..?" He asked us. "Of course, we don't mind!" Kaito said as he removed his arm around me, obviously so that we wouldn't make Kiibo feel like a third wheel.

Kiibo came and started walking next to us... "How are you two?" He asked us trying to make it not awkward "i'm good..!" I answered him "oh, I'm fine, how're you, Kiibo?" Kaito asked Kiibo. "Oh i'm alright" he told us.

"You didn't approach Shuichi ever since that right?" Kiibo asked me, i shook my head no. "This guy is gonna be a trouble for us. I already know he's gonna be pinned to Kokichi the whole time since he sees him as a naive person." He told us. "You're stronger than what he thinks. Kokichi." Kaito informed me.

We arrived at the school, us and Kiibo aparted away to choose our dorms and thankfully me and Kaito were able to pick the dorm we want.

"Damn, this one is pretty big, don't you think?" He told me, "hey.." i said making Kaito pay attention to me, he looked at me and waited for me to continue my sentence "n- no weird thoughts alright!?" I said closing my eyes tight.

Kaito stroked my hair "alright. No weird thoughts." He told me i looked at him "you're only saying this! You're probably still having weird thoughts about me!" I told him blushingly. Kaito chuckled "i mean, those weird thoughts are because i love you, but i'll only think about them during sex just for you." he kissed my cheek as he finished. "You wanna do anything together before the class starts? Not sex tho. The smell will be pretty obvious." He told me.

I stood there and thought for a moment... "Can we ask.. y'know... Lame questions like "what's your favorite color"?" I asked, "of course." He chuckled then told me, Kaito took a seat and i went to sit next to him. "Hmm... Kokichi...? When is your birthday?" He asked me, "oh.. it's June 21..." I told him... "Kokichi... We haven't celebrated your birthday!" He told me.. i didn't really know what to say...

He sighed.. "i'll buy you a super late birthday present" he told me, "wh- what!? No! You don't have to-" "shut uuuup, i will." He cut me off.

"Kaito? You don't admire space more than you admire me.. right?" I asked jokingly. "H- huh..? I mean... Maybe.." he answered "Maybe!?" Kaito laughed at my words. He was about to continue on with the conversation but the bell interrupted. "Oh for fuck sake." Kaito said

We both went to the class.

Finally it was recess, Kaito and Kiibo were just sitting together and someone approached us. "Hey." She said. "Oh, h- hey Maki!" I answered "i know it's lame but.. can i sit with you guys? I'm tried to get out of that creep's sight." She asked us making sure that creep isn't around. "You must be talking about Shuichi." Kaito told her, Maki nodded. "W- wait! Waaait! I also want to get away from him!" Tenko approached us. "Yeah yeah, you can sit with us it's alright" Kaito answered her too

Kiibo sighed. "I feel like we're gonna start a hate club." Kiibo told us "i- i mean... If this guy wasn't racist i would've disagreed." Tenko told us looking away, "guys. You know what my ultimate is right?" Maki told us, but actually none of us did. Us as classmates didn't even give a shit about each other... Well... We used to.

All of us shook our head no. Maki sighed. "So that's why..." She told us, "why? Does Shuichi has anything to do with your talent?" Kiibo asked her "well.. not exactly but." She answered. "I'm not gonna say it myself. If you want to know look at the files." She told us. "Um? Alright? Even if you were the ultimate killer or something i won't ditch you! At least you aren't a perverted creep!" Tenko said. We continued eating our lunch.

Us and Maki and Tenko separated apart since we're having gym class so we need to change, "Hey. Are you two gay?" Kiibo asked. "Huh!?" We both said as we blushed. Kiibo gave a serious look "yeah you totally are." We still didn't say anything. "Don't worry i'm not homophobic. Though i also have a secret that i've carried my whole life." Kiibo told us, when we got to the changing room, we arrived early.

"I didn't tell anyone my ultimate talent because i don't want to be treated differently. However i am the ultimate robot" Kiibo told us looking away from us "a robot!?" Kaito asked surprisingly. "Th- that's so cool!" I told him

Kiibo looked at us "th- thank you..." He told us "though... Why would you say a secret to us..? We aren't that close as friends yknow?" Kaito asked "it's because i wanted to know if you're robophobic or not.. last time i befriended someone when i told them i'm a robot they started making fun of me... It truly made me upset to be honest..." He told us

"Nah don't worry, whoever that friend was probably is an asshole for leaving you just for that." Kaito told him. "Yeah... Though i'm glad i have you guys as my friends.." Kiibo told us.

~TIME KSIP FOR THE 11037TH TIME

The school day finally ended and we were heading to our dorm. Though i noticed Kaito kept looking behind us, as if he was making sure no one was following us. "Is something wrong?" I asked "that asshole was staring at you the last three periods." He told me "who do you mean by "that asshole"?" I asked him

"Shuichi of course!" He told me, "don't feel bad for how we treat him. He's already popular and loved in our school just for his looks and his braveness for deciding to audition for danganronpa." He continued.

We finally arrived at our dorm, we both put our bags down on the floor. Suddenly, Kaito pinned me to the wall and started kissing me, i obviously kissed back. He held both of my hand and continued kissing. We just made it a making out session of course

He pulled away and looked at my neck. "You said you think cosplaying is cool because of the clothes right?" He asked me and i nodded.

He left my body and started walking towards our traveling bag "we need to hang our clothes." He told me, and i nodded, i quickly went and helped him

After a lot of work we both we threw ourselves in the bed.

Kaito's lips were on my neck, though he didn't kiss or do anything, his arms wrapped around my body, and like always. It felt home. It felt warm. Kaito always smelled like space the one thing he loved. Space is so naturally magical and pretty, no wonder Kaito admires it so much. And so do i. Kaito is my space.

As i was wondering about Kaito.. i fell asleep... And i woke up with the words "Kokichi! Wake up!" I opened my eyes, looking at where Kaito is. As my eyes met him, i noticed he was holding a super cool costume. It looked like a superhero's... "Happy super late birthday!" Kaito told me with a big smile, i chuckled "Kaito.. what?" I asked him with a smile.

"It was a normal costume but i redesigned it with a little help from my grandma just for you." He told me amd approached me.

There was a black cape, a checkered themed scarf, a super cool hat, the rest of it was White. The whole costume looked like a super hero's. "What is this?" I chuckled inbetween my words. Kaito chuckled with me "this is your late birthday present!" He told me

"Look, imagine you wearing this. You're very brave and smart, everyone says you're a perfect leader and looks up to you! You can even solve mysteries better than any ultimate detective in the world!" Kaito told me, i imagined as he told me to, i laughed "No way. I am not a danganronpa character!" I told him. "You are better than any danganronpa character. I mean Come on! You could end the creep's career!" He told me and i smiled as the thought of me being loved. Me as a brave leader? That's actually pretty cool...

"Thank you so much... Kaito!" I told him. "No need to thank me babe." He said as he kissed my forehead
