poem 1 (nothing)

218 9 3

I sat in the pouring rain,

the sky dark and gloomy

nothing in sight

then I saw him

my dress soaked and dirty

he walked away, as if he felt nothing

my blood slowly seeping through my black gown.

he felt nothing

just as my world spun

I was glistening like a star

no one would care.

the cobblestone road

now penetrated with my dark blood

why would he leave me here

to rot, to die

to not care, to show nothing

betrayed by a lover

my blood stained his hands

never to forget this moment
