'He loved her too much'

====================================

After her run in with draco she had just gone on with her day as normal, joining her friends for breckfast before heading to her first class, she shared many classes with draco but it seemed her had skipped them, which she was thankful for.

Ron and harry had gotten themselves in trouble during potions for purposely making there potion explode, earning themselves a late night detention of harvesting  plants in the greenhouse, since tonight was a harvest moon.

Hermione was now sitting cross legged on the old wooden floor on the gryfindoor common room infront of the roaring fire.

She stuck her hands towards the flame to heat them when a spark landed on her finger.

She retracted her hand and cradeled her finger. The sharp pain only stung for a moment before it subsided.

It was late, she guessed around midnight as she could see the bright moon shining fully.

She hadn't any intention of sleeping soon, she had already tried once tonight and been awoken by her night terrors again. Normally she would have woken harry or Ron but since they had gotten themselves a detention tonight, that want an option

This night mare  had been especially bad, she had seen her friends, dead and beaten.

' She tried to open her eyes but couldn't see anything

She tried to  opened her eyes, for the second time, as wide as they could and then squinted as to make out what she was seeing, the second she was able to see she wish she hadn't looked

Harry, Luna, Ron, Neville, everyone she had grown up and cared for were there.

Dead, unconscious on the floor.

It apperead as though they had all been beaten and tortured before death,

she looked at Colin creepy, he lay shirtless face down.

Her eyes focused on his back, the word 'mud blood' carves down his spine.

She tried to scream but no sound came out.

She tried to run to there rigid body to see if she could save anyone, but she couldn't move. She felt as though she was chained to an invisible wall.

She just stood there, frozen, unable to move, looking at the dead bodys of  her loved ones.

As she looked deeper into the piles she only saw more people she knew.

Her mum and dad, mcgonagall, Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, Hannah Abott, Fred, George.

Everyone.

Everyone she loved was gone.

Everyone except-

A voice cut through her thoughts "Pathetic, I thought you were a member of the order,  I expected more from you, I thought you would have at least put up a fight"

Hermione looked up  with teary eyes to see the dark lord

and draco.

He was floating, barley conscious in the air in the air. His head was slumped down. When he finally raised it to look at her, she saw fresh purple bruises all over his face.
