The Two Princesses

Chapter -5-

I walked into the giant ball room. A circle table sat in the middle with 12 other royals seated around it. They stood up and I greeted them with a shake of a hand. Prince Bakugou from the Fire kingdom was there. His dark red cape was tattered and bloody. Who knows what happened. Bakugou was the most feared person in the Fire Kingdom and was the rightful heir to the throne but he was also my childhood friend. We are the same age and grew up together because our parents had wanted us to get married so we could unit the Fire and Closce Kingdoms. I used to think he was cute but I now have better things to do than simply over that jerk. But we unfortunately needed his troops to search the land to find my sister. I made such a big deal out of finding my sister because I was planning to drop out of ruling Closce and she was supposed to be the new Queen. She always dreamed of being Queen but since she was the youngest she never had the chance. The only part she didn't like was getting married but I'm sure she would find a suitable man or woman. "Why the hell am I here!" Shouted Bakugou his patience running thin. I cleared my throat and tried to stay calm. "We need your help. Our troops are already positioned on the outside of the border protecting the forest from the League. So we need reinforcements." He scoffed. "So the Queen of Closce needs help, that's the first." He smirked. "f you are here to mock me and my Kingdom then get out." I resolved calmly. His smile turned into a frown. "Fine, Ayris." There were a few gasps, and I flinched. No one ever calls me by my real name. I got up and strode over to him. I grabbed his collar and hoisted him up. "You have a lot of nerve to be saying that to me!" I snarled. "Calm down, we know where your sister is," he smirked. I let go of his collar and composed my complexion. "Fine if you tell us where she is you can leave and pretend like this never happened." He grinned, "Deal."

I sighed as I looked at the ceiling of my room. The room was small, but it was nice. I thought, "I should probably find a long-term place to stay soon..." And with that final thought, I headed to sleep. 

Bakugou stood up and rolled out a large map on the round table. "Your sister is here." He said. "She's in your Kingdom?" "Yes, I don't know why but my guards saw her pass by a few days ago. Reckon she is still there given that she has no current money. But.." He smiled, "We can track her down easy." "And how's that?" I answered. "The ball of course." "What ball?" Prince Bakugou walked over to me and towered over me, "Don't you know? It's going to be my birthday."

Time skip-Next day

I woke to a person banging on the door. "OPEN UP" They yelled, banging on the door more. I jolted up and out of the bed, to open the door. There I saw a man, clearly drunk, and he looked at me. "What are you doing in my room?" He asked. I looked around, and all my stuff was in there. A lady came up behind him and said "Sir, this is your room" she pointed to the room to the left of mine. He rolled his eyes and left for his actual room. I looked to see how much money I had left, and it was 10,000 yen. (100 US dollars = 10000 Japanese Yen) 

"Your birthday?" I scoffed, "You're throwing a "little birthday party"? How old are you, 6?"  He frowned, "Actually I'm turning 16 and this "Little Birthday party" is my coronation. I will be crowned king during the ball. And well... every king needs a queen." he smirked.

I left my room, to find a place to make me a dress. I decided overnight I would go, and crash the party. Man, this was gonna be fun. I walked into a shop that sold dresses, and I tried a few on. My favorite one was a Pastel blue/purple gradient and it had a bell sleeve with a short 50's style skirt. 

I ignored his comment and continued to talk of our plan, clearly still flustered. "We would need to break in into the ball but we cant be ourselves it will draw too much attention." "Break into my own coronation?" "Well yes just for the time being your coronation doesn't start until later, there is a party beforehand and that's when we will get her and get out. You will come with me but you will have to be in disguise cause if you walk into the party dressed as you, then it would draw way too much attention." I spread the map out a little flatter. "Ok where will we break in?" Bakugou walked up behind me and stretched out his arm, pointing to the west gate. "There." I felt my face get hot. He was right next to me. His bicep right next to my face. "Anyway." I said stepping away from him. "The west gate will be closed, we can't go through that way. They are doing construction. We will go through the East gateway, with everyone else to not draw suspicion."

I was told to pick up the dress tomorrow, before the party. I was going to crash his coronation, by placing traps, and 'pranks' all over. I smirked as I thought out my plan and got all the supplies I needed. When I got everything, I put it all in my room, there was a small (Or so I thought)forest outside the inn I was staying at. I walked into it, finding many trails. I smiled and walked around some more. Forests always were my 'peace place' or where I felt most at home. I found an old cement bench and sat down. This must have been an old park, for there was also an abandoned water fountain in front of the bench. 

I watched as all the kings and Counts left, but Bakugou stayed behind. "Why did she leave?" he asked, his face serious. "She doesn't want the responsibility that comes with being a princess I guess." We walked out of the meeting room and went outside.

Sooo sorry I haven't been posting, school has been a lot lately. It's surprising that they still assign so much homework even though its almost Christmas! Anyway, hope you all have a good Christmas only 1 week left!
