The young girl asked me what my name was. I smiled and replied, "Gwenivere," I internally cringed. I knew it was wrong to lie but so much has happened that I don't know who to trust. She, after all, was there when the League struck the garden so who knows, she might have been one of them. The girl looked at me shock but quickly regained her composure. "Uh, nice to meet you, Gwen." She said with an outstretched hand. "You too." I smiled back. She said she recognized me? I wonder from where? I shook my head. It didn't matter, I was no longer Ayris, I was now Gwen.
'Gwen? Really? Is that the best you could think of' I thought, trying to keep a giggle down. I smiled, "Gwen, where are you from?" I asked, I was going to make her say my name- I internally smirked. She thought I was a part of the LOV.
Something felt weird. I felt like I've heard her voice before. I felt like I knew her from some place. "Oh uh," I said snapping back into reality. "I lived in the Fire Kingdom for my whole life. I was a peasant who worked for Prince Bakugou." I said gesturing over to him. He froze. "Uh, yea she was my servant." He scowled at me and went back to eating his soap.
I smirked and burst into a laughing fit, not one a young child has, but a psychopathic murderer has. "DAMN GURLLLLL YOU MADE A HUGE MISTAKE...*AYRIS*" I howled again with laughter, watching the young 'couple' look scared for their lives. When I calmed down, I said "Ayris, Ayris, Ayris, only royalty calls villagers peasants" I smirked once more, I had won, Ayris made her huge falling mistake.
I froze. 'What did she just call me?!' I panicked. I shot my head up and with complete terror I realized who was sitting right in front of me. "Scarlett!?"

Damn!!! This chapter was short as hell 😂 Sorry I haven' t been posting we had NWEA testing this week and was SUPER stressful. Luckily I completely sucked and now its over!
