𝒀𝑶𝑼 𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑹𝑹𝑬𝑫 𝑰𝑵 𝒀𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑺𝑳𝑬𝑬𝑷, cracking your eyes open and seeing the window curtains drawn back with the light peeking through. As you tried to sit up, you felt a weight on your stomach and looked down, seeing Yuki's head resting on your body with a peaceful look. You smiled at the sight and brushed back his hair, feeling his soft locks untangle underneath your fingers as he breathed quietly. He looked very cute when he was sleeping. You reached out to touch your forehead, pressing the back of your hand against it. Your temperature has gone down by a lot but you still felt slightly woozy. It wasn't too bad though, you should be able to attend classes as long as you kept a certain distance from everyone.

Why didn't he go home? You wondered, brushing through your (h/c) hair as you adjust your position. You lifted yourself with your arms, letting Yuki continue resting his head on your thighs as you wiped your eyes. He could have gone home hours ago instead of staying here. You glanced down at him, staring at his parted lips and gentle breathing.

He looked so peaceful when he's like this. You smiled, patting the top of his head as he shifted the position of his body to stay comfortable. He was still wearing his school uniform but had taken off his uniform shirt, revealing his black undershirt that hugged his figure. You pressed your lips together in slight jealousy, a small pout forming on your face. Even when he's like this, he still looks really good. Although he could make do with better clothes, you added. Perhaps you should buy a spare pair of clothes for him if he decides to stay at your house again.

You blinked in surprise at your thoughts, causing your cheeks to flare bright pink. Did you just assume he'll be coming back to your house again? You even went so far as to think of getting him clothes and slippers so he could stay here. When you think about it more carefully. . . you were indirectly telling yourself you wanted him to live with you!

You quickly covered your blushing face with your hands, glancing away from the grey-haired boy in embarrassment. You breathed out a sound of humiliation, feeling a bit dirty with your own thoughts. You quickly shook your head, trying to clear your head. It wasn't weird to think of these things, right? You were just thinking about his well-being! You cradled your head, your cheeks still feeling hot as ever as you desperately tried to convince yourself everything was normal.

You slowly brought your hands down, letting it drop in front of you as you turned back to stare at Yuki. He was still sleeping despite it already being quite well into the day. Should you call the school? You wondered, maybe it would be better to wait for him to wake up and ask him about it. You frowned a bit, your eyes softening as you touched his grey hair, feeling the smooth and silky strands slip from the cracks of your fingers.

"You're. . . such an idiot," you said, pouting lightly as you brushed through his hair. "You could have just stayed home."

"You could have. . ." You whispered, gripping onto the ends of your blanket, "it's whatever I guess. . ."

Was he asleep? You asked yourself, tilting your head to get a better look at his face. It seems like he was dead asleep by the way his chest would rise and fall at such a consistent pace. You pressed your lips together in thought, your hands raising themselves to wrap around your necklace. You've only taken it off in the showers to avoid the material from rusting but hid it underneath the covers of your clothes. You asked yourself if it was normal to give friends small gifts like these. You fiddled with the wings of the charm, humming slightly. Should you have bought something for him as well? It felt a bit unfair to have him give you something without getting something in return.
