I slowly made my way down the steps. Turning the corner to look into the room my brother stood there, shirtless, with a riding crop. He motioned for me to come over to him. Slowly, I made my way to him. He grabbed the chain off the floor and pushed me down so he could attach it to my collar.
"Now, mutt, what did you do that I told you not to?" He said kneeling down so he could see my face.
"I talked without permission, sir." I said keeping my eyes away from his.
"Good, now you either stay here and take your punishment or I call up my friend and see what they can do with those girls of yours." He pulled out his phone and set it on the table that was next to him. Grabbing the chain, he pulled me to my feet and caressed my back. "Such pretty skin you have. If only we weren't siblings," He sighed "I would do so much more than hurt you" I felt a sting on my bare back as the crop came across my back. He rubbed his hand over the now red mark and the sting slowly faided.
He repeated the process until the middle section of my back was red. Pushing me down so I was sitting, he again left me in the darkness of the room.
Then I remembered, he had his phone down here. Maybe he left it on that table. I slowly stood up, careful not to move the chains to fast so they make any noise. I slowly made my way to the table. Reaching forward I felt around the table. He did! He did leave it down here!
I quickly hid it my under clothes and went back to sit down. Waiting until nightfall I pulled out the phone again and turned it on. Looking though it, I found one name that stood out to me.
"Kai." I said in a wisper voice. Dialing the number I waited for him to pick up.
"Hello! Arthur, did you get what I wanted?" I heard his voice from the other end. I sat silent, "Arthur you there. You said you would call as soon as you had her. Hello?" My eyes widened.
He can't... he can't be talking about me can he?
"Hello Kai. How have you been? It seems you want my brother." I said trying to sound sweet and innocent, but I doubt it came out that way.
"Oh, Elizabeth. Yes, I do. Is he around?" He asked his voice shaky.
"No actually, he is asleep. Do you want me to pass on a message for you?" He quickly said no and hung up.
"A mother would do anything to save her child. Don't think a simple beating will make me give up, brother." I ripped the collar off and stood up. Taking my brothers phone with me I headed for the door. Opening the door I felt a tug on my hair, something pulling me back in.
"Don't think you can escape that easy. I'm not that stupid you know." I turned around and growled. I grabbed his hand and pulled it away from my head.
"I'm not that weak either." I began to to squeeze his arm until he yelled out in pain and fell to the ground holding his wrist. I quickly turned around and dashed off. Holding his phone in my hand. I dashed out of the forest and to a clearing.
A clearing! I was here once, a year ago. That means!
I turned and ran toward where the camp used to be, and I hope it still was. With all the men I once called friends in it. I hope pure will power can distroy a spell. I smiled slightly and ran toward a cabin I saw in the distance.
