Since you met him, it was as if your heart was captured by him. Marcus, himself. Every moment you tried to spend with him seemed oddly pathetic of you due to how much you yearned for him yet every attempt seemed to be futile. His eyes were never on you but always on Didyme. The perfect beautiful sister she happened to be. And thus, you were overshadowed.

Making no attempts to woo him afterwards as your pride was at risk. What kind of a woman would go after her sister's husband? None but a homewrecker. Therefore, you put a stone in your heart. And it was never removed by anyone. Centuries passed but no one could make you feel that way as you had once felt about Marcus.

To see him with Didyme all the time, smiling at each other, staring deep in each other's eyes. It all made you fume internally but suffering was all you had known. He was smitten by her. And it bothered you. He even stopped joining the important councils for the necessary ruling as a member of Volturi. He grew weak. Aro, the eldest of the three of you siblings, seemed particularly bothered by that.

As if the Gods heard you, the attack made by the Romanian Coven had reduced Didyme into ashes. How pitiful, you thought as the alleged members were executed. To think you weren't even upset about losing your sister. She always took everything you wanted after all. How could you feel bad for her?

But her husband - no, he is no longer her husband.

With that, you began to woo him once more. Wearing every kind of richly woven dress with the most provocative details. Everyone seemed to notice how desperate you had become of him. Though, he paid no attention to you. And it felt as if a werewolf dug its venom deep in your bones.

You tried everything. Heated stares, ignorance to his existence, desperate looks, glaring to everything. Needless to say, you were getting tired. He was too mournful of Didyme to even notice you. Or that is what you thought. And thus, you stopped once more.

You were walking around in the study wearing that velvet white robe of yours with only a thin white shift beneath that. Reading the book in your hand. It was a good read of Egyptian culture. It was truly fascinating to learn more.

"You have not visited me in a while." The voice shrill your attention away from the pages. You turned around to face him. His hair reaching down his shoulders, eyes somewhat sunken and crimson. The doublet he wore was generously providing you a view of his tall figure.

Thickly swallowing, you answered. "I did not think you would bother to notice," Putting down your book, you circled around him. "What might you be in need for, Marcus?" You asked him.

He did not respond but rather stilled there. His eyes looked around with guilt. "I did not want you to feel saddened by my behavior. She was all I had... And I have not been very respectful to you due to my present state," He tried to explain. His gaze finally met yours, "Forgiveness is what I seek from you."
