We're doing a different prompt list and this one is Lazy Morning!!!

The sun had been up for a while, now. And Inkopolis was certainly as lively as ever.

However, this does not mean everyone was out of bed, really. As a certain couple decided to spend the day sleeping in. 

Having moved in to Emperor's house had its perks. For one, Emperor lived with his team, who took a liking to Gloves' multitude of pets and vice versa (Despite Eging's minor allergy to cat fur. Lucky for him though, Gloves also had a hairless cat who almost immediately 'adopted' Eging to be her person-). So, they got to sleep in without really worrying about anything.

But, old habits tend to stick around. So Gloves woke up first. Not to say they didn't like waking up being cuddled by their boyfriend, but that was the thing. As much as they loved being cuddled, they also liked turning the tables and using Emperor as an oversized teddy bear. 

First things first, I gotta get out of his grip. Gloves thought. They were (Physically) stronger than Emperor and way more flexible, on account of being a gymnast and having to carry giant bags of pet food all the time. So this step was pretty easy; they wrapped their arms around their back, moving Emperor's hands apart, so Gloves was actually free.

Next,  they wrapped their own arms around Emperor's waist, pulling him closer. They smiled, and pressed a kiss on Emperor's nose.

Well, the small sensation of a nose boop seemed to wake the king up, as Emperor opened one eye, and a small smirk came to his face. "Really, love?"

"What? Did I wake you from a good dream or something?" Gloves asked.

Emperor shook his head. "No, I was just enjoying my beauty sleep. But yes, you did wake me up."

They smiled. "Well hey, at least now you're up and we can properly cuddle!!!

The king rolled his eyes rather playfully, and pulled Gloves close. "Well, fair enough."
