Derek didn't let go of Stiles hand the whole walk back. He was afraid that Stiles might slip away from him if he did let go and he wasn't ready to lose another person he loved. In the silence they kept walking and finally made it back to camp as the morning sun made its appearance. Derek kissed Stiles cheek before finally letting the boy go. They both quietly walked into the cabin and crept to their beds. Stiles shoved his bag under his bed and collapsed onto his mattress. Part of him was still scared to death but another part of him felt better knowing that Derek was on his side.

"Where'd you sneak off to last night?" the whisper came from Scott. Stiles rolled over and could see the smirk on Scotts face. The smile immediately faded when Scott saw his friends face. He could see how exhausted Stiles was and his red puffy eyes gave away he'd been crying. Scott quickly sat up and crouched down next to Stiles bed. "What's wrong Stiles? What happened?"

"I tried to runaway-" Scott opened his mouth to interject but Stiles interrupted and continued talking. "Derek found me and stopped me."

"Why'd you try to runaway? I thought you liked it here?" He seemed almost hurt and it made Stiles feel worse.

"I do like it here. I was stupid but I promise I'm not going to run again. I know now I can't keep running." Scott grinned at Stiles and ruffled Stiles hair.

"Good." He stood up and changed his shirt. Moments later snoring broke through the room. Derek had passed out. The boys laughed including Isaac who had just woken up.

Stiles felt nauseous all that morning waiting for his dad to arrive. He paced outside the main house going back and forth over what he should say, how he should start and if he should start.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Deaton had walked out of the house with a cup of coffee and a warm look on his face.

"Make it a plane ticket to somewhere else and it's a deal." Stiles sat down on the steps and Deaton joined him.

"Wouldn't that be nice. You seem like you're struggling with something. Want to talk about it? You've really adjusted here. Your grades have improved, almost back to straight As. You've made friends. I don't want to see you take a step back."

"That's all I keep hearing. How much better I'm doing. I don't know if that's true. I could really fuck things up for the person I care most about today if I keep getting better." Deaton raised an eyebrow, no doubt about the language.

"If it keeps you safe or helps you in your recovery then you won't mess up anything."

"I have to tell my dad something and I'm scared to death. I don't think I can do it. I'm not strong enough."

"You're stronger than you give yourself credit for Stiles. You're here. You aren't on the drugs any more and you have enough courage to even think of talking to your dad. When your dad gets here you can use my office. I'll be there too if you need me."

"Thanks." Deaton offered a smile and returned to his cup. Soon after Stiles saw his dad drive up in the car. Stiles stayed sitting too afraid to move. He thought if he stood up he might run in the opposite direction. Mr. Stilinski opened the car door with a smile and approached them. Wendy and Matt weren't far behind.

"Hey kid." Stiles stood up and hugged his dad. He held on tighter than he ever had before.

"You alright buddy?" Stiles pulled away.

"I'm fine." Stiles stepped to the side seeing Wendy and stepped forward giving her a small hug. She along with Mr. Stilinski was surprised by the gesture. Stiles felt guilty. Wendy had always treated him as a son and he was about to ruin it all. He felt bad for directing his anger at her when it wasn't her fault. Did she know that her son was a monster? Deaton step forward and extended his hand.

"I'm doctor Deaton." Mr. Stilinski grabbed his hand and shook back."

"This is Wendy and this Matt." Deaton smiled and shook their hands as well.

"Nice to meet you. I'd like to talk to you and Mrs. Stilinski in my office about Stiles progress."

"Sure. No problem. Should the boys join us?"

"It's not necessary. Stiles can show Matt around and then maybe we can all get together in the next 20 minutes? Have a family gathering?"

"Sounds good" Wendy grabbed her fiance's hand and they followed Deaton into the house leaving the boys alone.

"What do you want to show me first?" Matt asked caressing Stiles hand.

"I...um."

"Your dad said there were canoes and Kayaks. Can we look at those?"

"Sure." Stiles began to lead them to the racks just outside of the woods that held the water equipment. On the way they also passed the archery set up. Matt was impressed. They stood by the canoes and Matt investigated them.

"These are sweet."

"They have zip lines too."

"No fucking way! Hell, I might get sent here. It's a nice set up. Plus I'd get to be with you." Matt stepped up closer to Stiles and placed his hands on Stiles hips.

"Don't." Stiles tried to pull away and Matt pulled him in closer.

"Come on Stiles."

"I told you I didn't want to do this any more. You said that you'd stop." Matt didn't seem to be listening as he brushed his lips over Stiles cheek.

"I don't remember that." Matt tangled his hand in Stiles hair and tugged hard. Stiles let out a yelp and Matt was quick to kiss him. Stiles shoved against Matt's chest and pushed him away. He could see the flash of anger over Matt's face and regretted it. Matt reached out and shoved Stiles hard knocking him to the ground. Stiles covered his head knowing it was coming. Matt violently kicked Stiles in the side a few times before lowering himself. "I didn't want to do that." Stiles knew he did. It was one of his favorite things to do when he wasn't doing other things. Matt pulled Stiles hands away from his face and Stiles could now see Matt and how "upset" he was by hurting him.

"I'll make it better."

"Don't touch me." Stiles pushed away and could feel the tip of a canoe hit his back. Matt stood up from his crouch and walked forward.

"Look who got brave all the sudden." He grabbed Stiles ankles and dragged him forward.

"Get off me!" Stiles struggled as Matt straddled him, pinning him down. "Someone hel-" Matt threw his hand over Stiles mouth to silence him. This is why Stiles stopped fighting back all those times, one of the reasons. He didn't want to do that this time. He knew he could fight back, he was starting to believe in himself again. Matt was kissing at Stiles neck and face when Stiles lifted his knee and knocked the wind out of Matt. He fell to the side and held onto his stomach. Stiles scrambled to his feet. Matt was up quickly though grabbing Stiles shoulders pulling him down. Stiles face hit the ground hard and for a moment the world was fuzzy. Matt was on top of him again.

"Stop acting like a baby! You're going to get us caught!" While Matt began to rub Stiles back and then his thighs Stiles hand wandered around and he found something solid. He gripped it tightly and turned himself slamming Matt in the head. He heard him fall and Stiles pushed himself up and looked over seeing Matt lying still on the ground.
