"what do you want with me?" keiko asked, sat on a futon with her arms folded. a thing she'd always do when mad, upset or wanting answers.

"you will be my bride." kazama said, just dropping the bomb so suddenly she thought it was a joke.

a mocking laugh left her lips as she hunched forwards, finding his words hilarious. "i... what?"

"this is not funny." he told her, sternly. a frown formed on his face as she continued to laugh.

"oh my. you're serious?" she rubbed tears away. "now, why on earth would i be your bride?"

"so you can have cute babies together." shiranui said before kazama could speak. she had completely forgotten he was even in the room. when kazama spoke it was like all the attention was on him and you'd forget about anyone else around.

"no!" keiko yelled, jumping to her feet. shiranui rolled his eyes expecting a dramatic reaction, but in all honesty the reaction wasn't dramatic at all to her. hearing someone say such strange things when you don't agree at all isn't pleasant. they wouldn't understand that.

"sit your ass down." kazama mumbled, glaring at shiranui as he did.

"what he meant was, you are an extremely powerful kitsune and kazama is a powerful demon. the two of you together would be incredible." amagiri said.

"plus the baby part is true. both our clans need to get larger and stronger. this is the only way." kazama continued, a playful smirk on his face wanting a reaction from her. weirdly, he found it cute. "we will be married in a month."

"no." keiko exclaimed once more. "i'll never marry you."

in an instance his eyes narrowed and his hand reached out to grab her face, bringing her close to him. they were a very small distance away from each other. "you have no choice but to obey me."

"and what exactly will you do if i disobey?" she hissed, staring at his eyes, testing him. his eyes travelled from her eyes and to her lips and she caught onto it. she pulled away from him and put on her poker face not trying to show she was flustered.

"i've noticed your interest in yukimura chizuru. what do you know?"

"none of your business."

"i see... well then, if you disobey me i will simply kill her." he said, putting two and two together, he knew she would want to protect chizuru.

"you wouldn't."

"oh but i will, my cute little bride." he put a hand on her cheek, teasing her as her lips quivered in anger. he kept touching her face and no man had ever touched her face in this seducing way and to add to that he was threatening someone she cared about. it was breaking down her mask she put on and she felt like she was losing control.

"can i at least live on my own?" she picked her words wisely, trying to change the subject from chizuru to calm herself.

"you must stay with us while we wait for the day to get married." he told her, moving away to go sit somewhere else in the room, finally giving her some space.

"i hate you people."

"sleep for now. tomorrow we will be leaving to go somewhere."

the girl turned away from the men and curled into a ball on the futon, eyes closed and mind fogged with what she would have to do now. escaping was no longer an option.

morning came quick and the four left the building straight away. amagiri and shiranui split away from kazama and keiko. she had no idea what was going on but followed kazama who led her to a bridge.
